Cedric The Entertainer on Tour
It's easy to see how Cedric Antonio Kyles, famously known as Cedric The Entertainer, earned his name over the last several decades. The American actor, comedian, producer, and TV show host has spent decades delivering laughs on stages big and small. Cedric is best known for his side-splitting standup material while touring as one of the Original Kings of Comedy, a series Spike Lee later compiled into a film for America to enjoy in 2000. The powerhouse comedian is also loved for co-starring on "The Steve Harvey Show" -- a role that won an NAACP award for Best Supporting Actor. You might also know him as the lead character, Eddie Walker, in Barbershop, or as the host of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" from 2013-'14. Cedric's other projects include five seasons on the CBS sitcom "The Neighborhood," the show "Johnson" on Bounce TV, and his own HBO comedy special. Now, you can see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour as he goes back to his roots, performing hilarious standup comedy across the country.
Cedric The Entertainer Live
This happily married father of three was born on April 24, 1964, in Jefferson City, Missouri. His keen sense of style and uncanny ability to rock a hat with every ensemble started in high school when Cedric developed a severe rash on his head -- something he has said he is no longer embarrassed by but instead proud of. After receiving a degree from Southeastern Missouri State and bouncing between jobs, he decided to pursue comedy full-time in Los Angeles, where he now lives with his family. There, he'd become a major player in the 1990s Era of Hip Hop Comedy, helping to transform what initially began as an experiment into an unforgettable experience as Black comics got their voice on stage. While still an emerging talent, Cedric hosted BET's "ComicView" in 1993-'94 and "Def Comedy Jam" in 1995 before co-starring on the WB sitcom and appearing in the Spike Lee documentary. Cedric expanded his acting career while pursuing comedy and landed in films such as Big Momma's House, Get Smart, Be Cool, and Code Name: The Cleaner. The Entertainer lent his comedic voice to characters in Ice Age, Madagascar series, and Charlotte's Web. A true, all-around performer and a cultural icon, he's appeared on Broadway, in two multi-platinum albums, as the lead comedian at the White House Correspondents Dinner, and was even featured as a character in a video game. You won't want to miss your chance to see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour.
The show was great overall. However, the headliners weren’t that funny. Don DC Curry was the best in my opinion.
Show was decent - I thought it was suppose to end at midnight and since it was New Years everyone thought we’d be doing a countdown, toast, have confetti, or something but they ended the show about 30 mins early and so everyone was stuck in their cars in the parking lot trying to get out when the clock stuck midnight. Disappointing… especially with the $ spent on these tickets.
Straight jokes no chaser was straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥,waiting for the next one
This was on of the funniest shows I've ever seen. We laughed from the time the opener came out till the end. I laughed so much, I got tired of laughing. This was a five star event.
North, South, East, and West talent line up was just what I needed to relax, laugh, and get fulfilled with great people! My family and I totally enjoyed ourselves.
We had floor seats. All the comedians were funny. I had seen Bruce Bruce and B Cole before , but we enjoyed all of them. Cedric looked more handsome in person! Well worth the money.
The show wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Especially for them to be vets I thought they would be hilarious. The jokes wasn't that funny and some were recycled. Damon was the funniest of all of them.
I attended the event in Atlanta and Damon Williams was thee funniest, hands down. He had me rolling. All the others had funny moments, but I expected more from them. Earthquake overuses his catch phrase, “These ain’t jokes.” D.L. and Cedric were good. Overall, I had a good time, but was expecting to have a great time.
I enjoyed seeing 7 different comedians at 1 show, and the fact they took their time didn’t appear to be rushed.
EVERY comedian was ON POINT! Absolutely LOVED the experience.
The event was good from the available parking to the hasssle free seating. The comedy show had a great lineup and they delivered
Me and my wife had a great time. We both needed to laugh like as if it was medicine to us we walked away, feeling good about life where sometimes laughter can help so again I thank you for a good time
Fabulous Show!!! Had a wonderful time; Loved all the “Comedians”!!!
This was a GREAT comedy show, The line up was perfect and the order of the comics flowed. I laughed some much my stomach was hurting!! I would definitely encourage you to see this tour when it comes to a town near you!
We had a fantastic time at the show! All of the comedians had us in stitches!!! LOLOLOL
The show was hilarious, however I wish there was a railing to get down to your seat safely and the chairs were a bit uncomfortable.
It was an awesome and amazing show. The comedian were off the chain.
I was too excited to see Cedric and the show was unmatched. Great line up and everyone was hilarious
I’m still laughing 4 days later. Hilarious comedians. Cedric was the headliner. My favorite was DL Hugley, Cedric, Bruce Bruce, Mike Epps, Lunell, Earthquake
Great show! Right number of comics and all were very funny! Lunnel is reping the girl power! Only complaint, the venue's seats weren't comfortable to be sitting in for that long.
