My wife and I really enjoyed Aspects of Love. Sound, music, and acting was great. Excellent venue, very intimate setting.
My wife and I really enjoyed the production of Aspects of Love. The sound and music was great as well as the acting. Great venue, very intimate.
The play was very engaging, thoughtful, and very well acted.
Through great casting, directing, and staging, I was drawn into the intimate world of a ljaded professor and ambitious, though tentative, and beguiling tutee.
Worst. Play. Ever. Hated every second of it. Huge waste of money.
Stage setup very nice we could see all the expressions on the actors faces time flew by
This is a beautifully written musical made even more so by the simply terrific acting and singing. Candice Knight captures the character of feisty Jerusha Abbott perfectly and Jo Bishara plays his part with perfect timing and wit. This is a âmust seeâ production!
We thoroughly enjoyed this gripping play. Beautifully written, directed and acted. A great history lesson, too!
Fabulously acted. It's a lesson in what's important in life-sometimes a lesson learned too late.
A father and son tragedy played out against the life of one of America's most famous capitalists.
Extremely well written and historically a cure. Herb Brown is an outstanding playwright. He's a local treasure.
My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing Henry Ford's Model E at the Rife Center. The set was a simple revolving stage and yet brought you back in time. With slight changes like the type of phone on the set at a particular era was the perfect touch. The stage hand wore a Ford uniform while changing the set. Each actor is worth noting but the standout would be Steven Black as Henry Ford. Portraying the love a father has for his son. Wanting to teach him his ways but tearing down everything he presented, takes a toll on all involved. Henry Ford was an ASS. Even though he was the first in the auto industry to raise his employee wages to make his car available for the working man, his strong arm Bennett made it hard to work there. Ford's philosophy was if our wages are double that of other auto manufactures if someone messes up they're fired because they have 10 others waiting to take their place. When his son dies his family blames Ford. He truly loved his son and it pretty much destroyed him. I highly recommend seeing this play.
I will keep this short and sweet. While the acting was good, the play itself was not. The first half was like a witty comedy and showed great potential. The second half became a drama and, while interesting, didn't seem to connect to or follow through on the first half. And then, after sitting through an intense buildup the last 15-20 minutes, the ending was...a complete cop-out, a total letdown, and overall infuriating. My husband and I just looked at each other, stunned, as the rest of the audience started clapping, and said in unison "Is that the end? That can't be the end." Why bother writing a story if you can't commit to an ending? What a total waste of time of time and money. This was my last CATCO play I will attend. Three strikes and they're out.
Actors truly held us in the moment, Thank you for sharing your talents!
The show was and funny and enjoyable take on a Sherlock Holmes mystery. it was great fun my husband and I both enjoyed the show.
We really enjoyed this. Talented cast and very humorous!
The 5 actors kept the show on a frolicking pace.Sir Arthur would have been amused.
Excellent show in a great theater. The actors were very talented and enjoyable. I would recommend this show to anyone.
Very funny and talented cast. I didn't realize a Sherlock Holmes story could be so hilarious.
