Not the best show I have seen but not bad either. Lead singer was great other singers were pretty good.
our first show in the states and we highly enjoyed it.
I loved this production!!! The music was wonderful and the play flowed flawlessly. The actor playing the main character was excellent!!! Thoroughly enjoyable!!!
Very good play. Lead actor was great! Very interesting story line.
I didn't know what to expect with this performance. After seeing the movie and knowing the story I wasn't quite sure how they could turn it into a musical. However, they broke the story down in a very unique way and did a fantastic job turning it into a musical play! I highly recommend this as a must see! All the performers were fantastic and the songs were great! Well done!!
I took my wife to the show for her 25th birthday. We both really enjoyed the show. The voices were really good and the dancing was fun!
Fully entertaining with a unique take on the now-familiar movie's story. Everyone in the cast appeared "invested" in their roles but still having a good time.
The talent of the cast; singing, dancing in Catch Me If You Can was topnotch. The choreography & set design was amazing, as well. Complete entertainment. Loved being able to see the incredible band incorporated & on stage.
This was a great show! I didn't get a chance to see it on Broadway so I was thrilled when I saw that it was going on tour and coming to my city! I saw it on a Tuesday, opening night. At one point, something strange happened. About 3 songs into the second act the lights went down (as if there was going to be a scene change - so I didn't think much of it) and a voice came over the sound system saying there were technical difficulties. The house lights did not come back on and we sat there for a couple of minutes in the dark. Since this was election night, tons of people took the chance to check their phones so the theater was illuminated with smart phone lights. Then the announcer said "The show will continue on you applause" and it was back. Strange. But a new experience!
I was wondering how they were going to pull it off. I am so happy that I went to see this! Would def. recommend this to anyone!
I saw the show on Broadway 7/11. it is so much fun!!!!!! you just belly laugh. So glad it is touring. A MUST SEE!!!
Cannot wait to read the original autobiography; Carl Hanratty's character was highly enjoyable; costumes and set design were well-done.
My husband, myself and teenage son and daughter went to the play. We all enjoyed it! The "boys" weren't looking foreward to it, but ended up liking the play!
This show made me laugh and cry at the right places, and I left wanting more. Aaron Tveit is electrifying and charming, and so very talented. He's brilliant, and I totally love his voice. Norbert Leo Butz is so funny and a talented actor as well. I was fortunate to see this amazing show and cast a total of four times. If it didn't close, I'd see it each time I visit New York City. It ranks right next to Jersey Boys as my all time favorite Broadway show.
We are amazed that this brilliant musical (with unforgettable acting and voices) closed so soon! Those that missed it, truly missed out! Norbert Leo Butz is stupendous as always; it's not a fluke that he's a three-peat Tony winner!
Incredable performance quality by all...Norbett was key...music and choreography was top notch! When are they returning to Broadway?
Traveling with family, I had to select a Broadway show that could impress a diverse audience in age and taste. I did!!! Why wasn't this production more hyped? I feel like we stumbled on a gold mine. The cast and orchestra were fantastic. I see why several individuals won Tonys but the overall collaboration of talent was at a high level, even for Broadway. Very impressed, very pleased, very entertained. Made our NYC special trip memorable for all. Thanks for doing what you do, Catch Me If You Can crew!
I was fortunate to see Catch Me If You Can a few times before it closed. Aaron Tveit is brilliant!!! He has one be the best voices on Broadway, a very multi-talented young man. He played the main character with such charm, that I couldn't take my eyes off him. Norbert Leo Butz as equally great . He was so funny and had great comedic timing. I love that the show made you laugh, cry and smile. It kept my interest throughout the whole time. What a stellar cast.!!! So sad the show closed prematurely. At least I have the cast recording to listen to and as I reminder that I was able to see this truly wonderful show.
This was a well -done lighthearted play. The dancing was great. All the 1960's references were correct - I was paying close attention. It was thrilling to see the real Frank in the audience at our performance. I only wish he had come up on stage.
