Great show. The vocal talent was outstanding. Memorable songs and an excellent cast, orchestra and crew. Thanks to all for a fantastic evening.
This show is presented as a 1960s variety show without the power of the stars who were the guests and hosts/hostesses. Instead, it is a collection of all the annoying 1960s psychodelic video projections (think "Hullabaloo"), and filler segments (think white bell-bottomed dancers doing the "Pony"). The subject, Frank Abagnale, Jr, may have made for a passable stage play, but musical material it is NOT. This is one of those shows were it actually on TV, you would watch if there was absolutely nothing else on.
A fun show with a very good cast, dancers as well as singers. Follows story well. Music very good and orchestra-top notch.
What a great afternoon! The staging was fascinating. Loved the set. Great voices. Such an interesting story and so amazing when you realize it really happened.
I was looking more for a acting type play. That said, being that it was more of a musical I was not completely disappointed. It was well organized and followed the story line pretty good. Some scenes from the movie were left out, but I was not disappointed at that. My next play will be something that I have not seen yet as a movie. I'd like to see cats or rent now that I got my feet wet in theatre.
"Catch Me If You Can" is a fun way to spend a few hours. I wondered how this story of a young con artist who never stayed in one place for very long could be told on the stage. The sets and scene transitions allow the fast paced story to be told seamlessly. There are no catchy songs, but I enjoyed them none-the-less. The cast has a lot of energy! It's contagious.
lots of fun and enjoyable performance. Performers were wonderful
Wonderful Show, would love to see it again! Funny, true to the story.
I enjoyed the play wish there could have been more action
Fly away with this amazing cast and this odd but true story.
Loved the music, dancing and upbeat, positive energy projected. Characters played their roles perfectly!
The Fisher Theater is spectacular. We had great seats. The musical, however, was just so-so. It just seemed to drag. Staging was just OK. . kind of boring though.
You should see the movie or read the book too better understand the play.
It didn't hold our interest. We left in intermission.
Read the book and saw the movie, this production was excellent!
The staging and choreography of Catch Me If You Can was the best I have seen in a very long time! The acting was simply excellent.
Catch Me if You Can was a delightful surprise. Much better than I expected. Great orchestra, great music and dancing. Entertaining thru and thru!!!
The music, the set, the story and the unbelievable talent made Catch Me if You Can a wonderful experience.
Very talented cast. Fun night out. Would see it again!!
