It wasn't bad and it wasn't good, it was just basic. Was looking for something to do on a Saturday night so did this as a gamble, I lost. The VIP section had seats put as close as possible to each other, and I think I am confused why it was VIP, really feel like I could have sat with everyone else and had the same view of the stage but paid extra for my tickets. The ladies were beautiful and I do understand Burlesque but it felt like the show was drawn out and sadly just not worth the cost. I wouldn't go again and if someone asked me, I would tell them to go if they had nothing better to do on a Saturday night.
The venue had a mix up with the tickets and when we arrived there were no seats (we purchased seats verses standing room only). The employees did try to correct the issue but by this time the view to the stage was terrible. We left at intermission, I would say it was a waste of money.
It was a little confusing for us to locate this exact venue that is a part of House of Blues Houston. There was an upgraded line and then the normal line. While the staff told people to go to their correct line there was noone assuring that they did so. The venue had a nice ambience and was the perfect size for an intimate show. The stage was well placed and well lit. The entertainment was engaging, beautiful, and very amusing. The downfall was a 45 minute intermission. When we hear intermission we think 15-20 minutes, we were very surprised when it drug on and on. The intermission was longer than the second half of the show. There was no explanation given, so I guess that is standard for them. Overall it was a great night for a reasonable price.
It was fun and exciting................................................
Paid extra for the vip section only to be so close in the chairs you couldn't move felt like airplane seating. Says you get a table, you don't. Hope you like the people your sitting next to because you're gonna be close and not able to get out. Unless you make everyone move
The venue was awesome and the show was too! It was an exciting experience i would happily go see again!
Only down side was the price of “adult beverages” at the venue. Very high priced.
I love Carousel Club Burlesque. The shows are always professional and entertaining. I have seen many shows and they are always changing and exciting. The women are beautiful and this show had three of my favorites... Minxie Mimieux , Emma Vauxdevil and Elle Dorado. The crowd enjoyed the show and fun was had by all in attendance.
The Burlesque show was lovely but I couldn't see 50% of it and many others couldn't see either. The layout of the venue was not good, it was hot & humid because they left the doors open and the drinks were over priced. The music before the show started was extremely loud too. I can't say anything bad about the lovely ladies on stage other than I wish I was able to see the entire show. We will not be returning to the Bronze Peacock. This was our 2nd and final time there.
I went with 3 of my friends, we have never seen a Burlesque show before. It was everything I expected and more. The ladies were fabulous and natural which I loved. Great show would go see it again.
Worse burlesque ever. No interaction with attendees. And chairs was so close and uncomfortable
The show was okay. i probably wouldnt return, lets say there are much better performances else where. The drinks were wayyyy to expensive and limited. The seats were crammed, the place was in need of serious remodeling. The girls were mildly entertaining, non knew how to keep a beat or rhythm, no lipsyncing just random movements. Really seemed like the performance was thrown together last minute. Disappointed
The show was ok, the compare was good and funny. Location and organization very poor… Room was scruffy one bar staff and couple of waitresses. I’ve been to the old prohibition theatre s couple of times in tears gone bye and much more classy show … this one just ok!!!!ish….
The show was awesome! Took my date for his birthday and we loved it. My only complaint was the seating. I bought tixs $150.00 for 2 and when we got there seats were everywhere. It seemed like the seats were moved around and luckily we found 2 seats for us to sit next to each other.
Small personal venue. Amazing attentive staff. Absolutely stunning performances and just all around fun! 10/10 would do again!
