Took my nephew to this event. It was his very first hockey game. He loved it! The venue was great! Free parking!! Our seats were amazing and comfy. Everyone we encountered was super nice and we will definitely be going again.
This is the first time I have been and the small environment is perfection. Fan base is strong .
Some of the best bang for your buck entertainment in Winston, period. The energy, the quality of play all make up a wonderful experience every time we go! Do not sleep on trying out a game for yourself!

This was my first hockey game and I had a blast. I went by myself but everyone around me was super friendly. I enjoyed the game and watching the players interact with the kids a little was fun. I’m definitely coming back next season. There’s really no bad seats but if you want the full view of the ice sit on the side by the penalty box or sit up a littler higher than the players.

Very fun experience, good quality hockey and the small arena makes gives an inclusive feeling.

We were on the edge of our seats for most of the game. Definitely a rowdy crowd, but that only added to the entertainment. Maybe not a great environment for young children. Easy to get in and out. Good value for the money.

The review says to "Give us all the details". Ok...I can do that. We live in Concord, NC, about an hour south of Winston-Salem. We have always gone to Charlotte Checkers hockey games, but decided to attend a FPHL game when our old hometown team of 26 years ago, Binghamton, came to W-S. Heres what we found. The hockey may be single-A level, but it is still very well played and very entertaining The ticket prices are very affordable as well. The building is smaller than what we are used to, but this a positive since it lends to the friendly and family-like atmosphere amongst the fans. You can feel that as well as see it. We also loved how the players were so sociable with the fans. They appreciate the fans. Souvenirs... affordable as well. We have gone to 2 games now, the most recent tonight, April 1. Being hockey fans for 45+ years, we very much enjoy the atmosphere at the Thunderbirds games. We'll be going back much more next season. Thunderbird games are a great way to spend an evening.

Live the game, seating sucks, paid 50 for seating and kids kicked the back of our chair all night we left 2nd half. The girls didnt evens have seats for the kids so they sat in their laps were hanging all over on us and kicking the chairs it was terrible and a waste if money and time. I feel like inlost 50 dollars
The Thunderbirds did not disappoint. Wonderful game and atmosphere. The announcer needs to turn down the volume. It’s way too loud.
A great venue to see hockey. Ticket prices are reasonable. Very few bad seats. Pretty electric atmosphere. Concession prices are pretty steep. $8 for a beer, and $4 for a plain hot dog, at a minor league venue is simply taking advantage of a captive audience. Could use more folks in the security and admission areas. (Only 2 scanners for mobile ticket holders).
The entire experience was great. The team is exciting to watch. The food and beverage selections are good. The fans were great.
