Excellent venue, excellent game. Only downside is there weren't more people there to enjoy it!

by CourageFan on 10/17/17Orlando City Stadium - OrlandoGreat stadium. Craft beer counter was closed. Light lagers only option. No local brews. Drank water. Stadium staff very friendly. Aloft Hotel was nice and walkable. Grand Bohemian sold out months ago.

Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 10/17/17Orlando City Stadium - Orlando Parking was easy. The game was great. We wish that the seats had had cup holders, but everything else was really nice. There was a nice amount of space between chairs, unless there was someone trying to walk behind you. The wall was pretty cool and our section usher was great.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Soccer + Stadium = Amazing
by ProstheticLips on 10/17/17Orlando City Stadium - OrlandoWe saw the NWSL Championships at the new Orlando City Stadium. The field, of course, looked great (we also had season tickets for the Orlando Pride games), even with 3 games that week. I heard someone sitting near me remark at how great the field looked, so kudos to the field maintenance team! The visiting teams were scattered around, and the supporters got their own sections (with a no-mans-land between) in the standing-room-only supporters section. Security was great, and nothing happened to distract from watching the game. The teams played a hard, tough game; the refs were allowing a little more contact than a regular season game, but that was to be expected - there was much more on the line for this game, and throwing cards around would have just slowed everything down. Head ref was Christine Unkel; she ref'd some of the Pride games, and we were impressed by the fairness of her calls, and how she could maintain control without too many fouls / cards. The only 2 negatives we had were: problems with the paperless tickets (one showed up, but the other kept showing "barcode not available"; I had to get out of line to go to will call to get a paper ticket printed and then back through the line), and the lack of food outside the stadium. For the games during the season, there are usually several food options; for the championship game, there was a single truck serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and brats. I can get that (and more) inside the stadium. But, those were just minor blips before watching; once we were in, we had a great time.
Rating: 4 out of 5 OC stadium fantastic venue for NWSL championship!
by LifeinOTwn on 10/17/17Orlando City Stadium - OrlandoOrlando's new futbol stadium is a true asset to Orlando's sport venue! Beautifully designed, aesthetically pleasing and fan friendly. Not to mention NOT paid by tax payers' dollars! Where do you see something like that these days? What the stadium lacks and I hope future plans will correct this problem is PARKING!! Unless you use private citizens yards and local church parking lots, parking is literally many BLOCKS away downtown.
