Thr Saturday show was awesome. I loved all the artist. However, I would have enjoyed more of it had I known the times when each artist was performing. The website only posted who would be performing and maybe the order of the performances. I missed a part of Avery's set because I didnt know when she was schedulwd to perform. I was quite disappointed the event overall was great.
Capital Jazz Festival was a great event and the renovated Post Merriweather Pavilion made it even better.
My frat brother's and I attended with our ladies and had a great time. We will definitely be attending in the future and increasing the size of our group.
The weather was the best in 15 years! COVID and Labor day weekend created a slightly smaller crowd but all in all everyone had a blast!! Marcus Miller created the 2022 them song....You gotta get it from him for next year. I recommend moving the event to September to really enjoy the weather.
From Marie Antoinette to BBD, this year’s Festival was amazing. It was my first but definitely not my last Capital Jazz Festival. The Bill Wither’s Tribute was the highlight for me it was a fitting tribute to a man who is the epitome of American music. A Great time.
This was an absolutely AMAZING two days. So many artists and guest appearances...the lineup was incredible. Already looking forward to next year!!
