Caifanes is a Mexican rock band. After forming in Mexico City in 1987, the group achieved international fame during the late 1980s and early 1990s with their unique blend of British new wave, progressive rock, and Latin-influenced sound. Led by vocalist Saúl Hernández, Caifanes' dark, somber lyrics and style has led to hits like "Afuera," "La Célula Que Explota," and "Viento.” The band has also toured extensively in the U.S. and Mexico, and once opened for The Rolling Stones.

The sound was awesome, the crowd was loud, the lights were great, the fact that they played every single song from Caifanes I wanted to hear was even better. A couple of times though, I felt like the band was disconnected from the audience, especially Saul, it almost seemed like he wasn't too into it. It was a good show nonetheless.
Great sound, great set the only bad thing is that it had to end.
Unforgettable, emotional, outstanding, a rock concert out of this world, I mean emotional at a rock concert, only with caifanes!

I've been to many concerts but this one by far tops all if them. I loved the energy the band members displayed the sound was great I didn't sit down thruout the whole concert..definetly a night to never forget..THANK YOU CAIFANES U GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!

Caifanes rocked!!! Truely amazing show. The best show since Jaguares put it together. I am glad it was at the Nokia. This place + Caifanes was the perfect chemestry. A night to remember. Simply WOW.

Last time I saw Caifanes, they were just a 3 man band(original line up) And what I witnesed 16 years ago(5 original members)was a personal dream come true. I remember the first time I heard Saul and company, it was the day that for the first time in my life to truly experience the power of music. That, my friends; is what I felt on Oct 12th 2011. The power of music to a youth still searching and wondering to find themselves. It was awesome to see the band happy, smiling and back together. Of course Saul's voice is not what it used to be but the emotions he infused in the performance were more than I had previously seen and heard with Jaguares. The setlist was very good and covered every album recorded together, it was a great concert. For anyone who enjoys "Rock en Espanol" or anyone who enjoys good music, be sure to experience this exceptional band while they are still together/touring! My dream came true!!!!

They played the oldest songs and they take you back in time. Memorable......
The group is amazing, they made a great concert and everyone was so happy. Unfortunately the organization to get drinks was TERRIBLE. More than 1hr in the line to order some beers.
The band was great, but the place wasn't. they only had one bar, and it took over 45 minutes to get one drink.
One of the best performances I've ever witnessed. There's nothing like a live performance. Caifanes really energize every song, whether it's a slow or a fast tempo song. Every song was a thrill ride i didn't want to end.
The event was freaking awesome!!!!!! I'd recommend it to anyone!

Caifanes is one of the greates Mexican rock band, because of them I fell in love with the type of music. I can't wait for them to come to San Diego!!!!!
