Caifanes is a Mexican rock band. After forming in Mexico City in 1987, the group achieved international fame during the late 1980s and early 1990s with their unique blend of British new wave, progressive rock, and Latin-influenced sound. Led by vocalist Saúl Hernández, Caifanes' dark, somber lyrics and style has led to hits like "Afuera," "La Célula Que Explota," and "Viento.” The band has also toured extensively in the U.S. and Mexico, and once opened for The Rolling Stones.

No spanish rock band is more influential than Caifanes. If you have to pick a group that truly represents its culture and country without a doubt it would be Caifanes. Its been like 15 years since they split but now the giants are back!!!

The show was excellent, there is nothing I ould change. My only complaint about this concert and any other concert is that the shows only last 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours. In regards to the Latino/Mexican performers,...why is it that in other Latin American countries, their shows are always much longer in duration than here in the U.S.. I know for a fact that Caifanes or Vicente Fernandez will on for up to 4 hours in duration at their concerts in Mexico, but here it's always a short show????!!!! Do the promoters have anything to do with this, or is it the venue managers where the concerts are held? I ask because only one performer from Mexico has had the guts to expose what they called the "sad truth",....that being that the venue owners here in the U.S. will not allow them to perform beyond 11:00pm when they hold concerts here,...is that true??!! They stated that they always give them a hard time if they try to argue in favor of making the show last beyond 2 hours. If so what is the problem??!!!!

Thes concert was amazing " de POCA"!!!! This one beat the Heroes del Silencio Reunion... Caifanes played all of their famous songs... This concert was so great that I wanted to come back the next night... But the tix where all sold out... This concert is pit worthy!
