About

Cage the Elephant are a Grammy-winning rock band who formed in 2006. Originally hailing from Bowling Green, Kentucky, the group moved to London before sharing their self-titled debut in 2008. The band have released six studio albums that have all charted on the Billboard 200, including a career-best No. 2 debut for 2011’s Thank You, Happy Birthday. In total, Cage the Elephant have recorded 11 Top 20 singles on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart such as “Come a Little Closer,” and “Cigarette Daydreams.” Meanwhile, the group has logged two Hot 100 singles: 2008’s “Ain't No Rest for the Wicked," which has been RIAA-certified six-times platinum, and 2010’s “Shake Me Down.” Cage the Elephant won Best Rock Album at the Grammy Awards for 2015’s Tell Me I'm Pretty, then won the same category for their 2019 follow-up Social Cues. Since 2017, Cage the Elephant’s lineup has consisted of vocalist Matt Shultz, guitarist Brad Shultz, bassist Daniel Tichenor, drummer Jared Champion, guitarist Nick Bockrath and keyboardist Matthan Minster.

Cage the Elephant headed out on the Neon Pill Tour in June 2024. After kicking off at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah, the tour will cover much of North America through September 2024.

The 2024 North American Neon Pill Tour began on June 20 at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase three VIP package options for the Neon Pill Tour. VIP packages include perks such as:

    They brought the energy something he does that most bands dont do is introduce each member and give them all credit for their hard work. He had the thousands of people locked in. Love this band loved their performance saw about 10 groups over the weekend and they were my top group! 10/10 recommend

    Cage is my favorite band forever and after seeing them live, I am even more obsessed. They were incredible, Matt has an amazing voice that doesn’t rely on auto tune - very authentic. Although he was on a knee scooter, that did not stop his infectious enthusiasm, dancing, and gliding around the stage. No broken bone is stopping this rockstar!

    despite it being one of the hottest days of the year this concert was one of the best, if not the best i’ve ever been to. couldn’t recommend seeing CTE more. Their energy was something i’ve never experienced

    I have been listening to them since 2015 when we were badly struggling with teenagers. For me Telescope will forever be my song of resilience , there's never a time I listen to it without getting teary-eyed. That being said it felt like an out of body experience to actually seeand listen to them. Nice venue, large and intimate at the same time with good acoustics.

    The show was great in Houston. They had a fantastic set list. Great concert! I just wish there was a bit more stage design. They killed it would’ve taken the performance to the next level. Not a big deal since they performed well and had a nothing but BANGERS setlist, but just something I noticed (especially since my next concert was Glass Animals)

    Saw Cage twice now once at the Night running tour and another during Neon Pill. The set list, the lights, the dancing these guys know how to put on a great show! They never fail to amaze me! Matt is a great entertainer with great energy! If you guys haven’t had a chance to see them you should definitely try to go at least once! I remember the first time seeing them I was hooked immediately! Super grateful for both experiences and hoping to see them more again soon! By far my favorite band

    I was really impressed by their performance even while Matt Shultz was injured. It’s really strange that in an interview with mat and his brother three months ago they we’re talking how he gets injured a lot preforming lol.
