Caetano put on a great performance and I enjoyed every minute of it! I can only hope he brings the tour with Maria Bethânia to the New York area! Can’t wait to see it!

The concert was great and Caetano Veloso is an outstanding artist. The Moore Theater though, was very disrespectful with the performer, allowing people to join and leave the hall without limits, creating a steady stream of opening and closing doors, with the obvious intrusion of light all the time! Shame on them!

Caetano delivered an outstanding performance. His energy on stage is remarkable and fans couldn't get enough of it. A truly highest quality Brazilian musical journey.

Caetano Veloso is one of the world's great singers and songwriters, whose music I've loved for about 40 years, one of my musical heroes - and he finally came to Houston, on his farewell tour! His voice is still great (a little less supple), and his band was so fantastic - a sextet of guitar, bass, piano, and three amazing constantly dancing percussionists. A completely joyous set! Thank you, Caetano!

Best show I've seen in decades: At 81, Caetano's voice is still as angelic as always. And the lighting and percussion were phenomenal. Too good for this earth! I only knew some of his older work and didn't know his more recent work. Either way, the show was fantastic from beginning to end: A lot of his recent work, and a few old favorites. I am endlessly impressed with how skilled his percussionists were: They could be subtle enough to beautifully embellish his solo guitar and vocal work, and then go big enough to fill a city. Truly great!

Music/performance was top notch, but the backdrop put it over the top!

Caetano playing with his sons, with a simple setting, made it all about the music and made it feel intimate. Him and his sons felt accessible and the crowd joined in multiple times to participate.

Beautiful venue, this being first time seeing th crowd was very excited and seems like a cult following. Concert seemed a bit short but crowd loved them.

The intoxicatingly beautiful sound of excellent guitar playing, mellow singing, and perfect mixing sound was very special. Portuguese is an aluring language. Really a memorable and affectionate evening.

My second time this year hearing CV. Always a treat--when the audience sings along, you know you're in the presence of a legend. Wasn't familiar with Teresa Cristina before but she was FAB. I enjoyed the show and hope to see either next time.

This was a wonderfully intimate performance experience - voices and a guitar - sometimes two guitars. My wife and I have seen Caetano many times over the years and we enjoyed his singing and guitar playing here. We loved it that, despite having an opening act, he played a good number of songs. He was the main reason why we came, so were happy about that. It was very enjoyable to see and hear Teresa Cristina and guitarist Carlinhos Sete Cordas for the first time. The theatre sound quality was fine. There are two factors that detracted from the experience: (1) people coming in late during songs (why can't the theatre coordinate with the performers to allow this at only certain times, such as during long transitions between songs?) and (2) seemingly random lighting of the audience. What's that about? It was very distracting.

He's still got the goods at 72! Delightfully relaxing evening spent with Caetano Veloso at Town Hall. Played old favorites; his English may be limited but his physical expressions tell it all.

His unique voice and interpretation is still there, with a melancholy of the years!

I've been a fan of Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil for years, but never had the opportunity to see them live. Only DVDs. They were fantastic. The sound was great and the venue very appropriate for this acoustic concert. They did their own songs as well as songs they composed together. Both are also very talented guitar players, and their guitars were more than enough to provide beautiful music and sounds.
