I was so impressed with the entire cast. Usually, one actor steals the show, but every single actor was phenomenal! The choreography was amazing as well as the singing. This production was executed with perfection.
While familiar with Cabaret, this was my first time seeing a live performance. This is one of the most talented casts I've seen! The show was very demanding and they had no problem delivering.
I've seen Cabaret many times. I thought that this was an excellent production. As the MC says, "the girls are beautiful; the boys are beautiful" and the production was beautiful. Randy Harrison (from HBO's "Queer as Folk") has matured into an incredible talent. He can act, he can sing, he can dance...and he's very, very "easy on the eye." BUT, be warned: this is a very dark, thought provoking, and relevant interpretation (there are unsettling similarities to today's political climate). And, for those made nervous by overt sexual behavior, you may want to reconsider attending. Little is left to the imagination. Bottom line: if you did not see this version in NY, then, see it.
Randy Harrison is phenomenal! His true talent shines. The whole cast is amazing. One of the best scenes is the homage to a pineapple.
