CAA Fun @ DC E&S Arena

    by LARS11414 on 3/11/20Entertainment & Sports Arena - Washington

Loved watching Hofstra and Delaware wins at this new, clean, right-sized complex. Staff and fans were friendly and enjoyable. Thanks for a fun afternoon and well orchestrated CAA basketball championship.

    Never again

by Arthur on 3/11/20Entertainment & Sports Arena - Washington

The venue for the event, the Washington Entertainment and Sports Area is in an economic crime invested area that both of our cab drivers (going and coming) expressed fear about entering. There was a nearby halfway house for two time convicted felons. No restaurants nor hotels within miles of the arena. There are few street lights. It was a dark black out of four square miles of economic and crime blight. If I could pick the one worst place in the United States to hold any event, this is the location. Basketball games are suppose to be fun. This put my safety at risk. Will not be back. Arthur Henderson, Newport News, VA

    CofC Cougars rock!!

by CofCFan on 3/7/18North Charleston Coliseum - North Charleston

Great game (CofC versus Drexel) in Colonial Athletic Ass’n. College basketball tourney (quarterfinals) at North Charleston Coliseum. My first CofC basketball game. Nice venue. Good security. Fast moving lines. Good food choices. Great seats. Cougs rally from 9 points down with 12 minutes to go and win by 7 points. Fun!

    Seats

by Detric on 3/9/15Royal Farms Arena (formerly Baltimore Arena) - Baltimore

Great games. Both were close throughout the night. I only wish I was closer to the action especially when there were so many seats open below me.

    Plusses and Minuses

by tcpa on 3/18/14Baltimore Arena (formerly 1st Mariner Arena) - Baltimore

Upper level seats are old but bigger than the lower level, which are nice but cramped. Great place for a basketball tournament. Food prices are MSG equivalent - $10 + for a burger and drink !!!

by Enjoy2 on 3/12/14Baltimore Arena (formerly 1st Mariner Arena) - Baltimore

The event was great! However, I recommend getting seat in the 100 and 200 levels. All the views are great even in 300 where I was sitting. However there was more "fan fare" going on in the 100 and 200 levels. The games were very competitive and fast paced. This with the cheering squads and bands for each school made for a very fun event. My family had a great time.

    Towson played hard!

by RelayRetiree on 3/11/14Baltimore Arena (formerly 1st Mariner Arena) - Baltimore

We wanted to see Towson and the College of Charleston play and these tickets got us in to both games on Saturday. (6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.) I wanted section 107 but they were allegedly sold out. Saturday night, however, there were lots of empty seats. We ended up in 207 and were very pleased. I think you might sell more tickets to the CAA tournament if the prices were not so high, $25 for the third tier, $42 for the second tier, and $52 for the first level. I would love to have seen lots of high school and college kids in the cheap seats....but there were no cheap seats.

    Great tournament

by adicecream on 3/10/14Baltimore Arena (formerly 1st Mariner Arena) - Baltimore

We had a fine time at the CAA tournament. Exciting games, bargain price, venue is ok - easy to get to, easy to park. All good except the Arena food....pretty much nothing that wasn't fried or greasy.

    Great Weekend of Basketball

by Anonymous on 3/10/14Baltimore Arena (formerly 1st Mariner Arena) - Baltimore

The games were exciting. The venue was comfortable and most seats had a great view. The start times were appropriately spaced. There are many restaurants in the area to visit in between sessions on the same day. Parking was expensive but available.

    Best championship in the NCAA

    by eaglescout1984 on 3/9/12Richmond Coliseum - Richmond

The CAA championship is the premiere championship in Div I basketball. There's a lot of energy, a lot of fun and of course some of the best basketball in the country. This game did not disappoint. The CAA does a great job of making the whole tournament a success.
