by Uic123 on 10/30/17UIC Pavilion - ChicagoI couldn't understand what the artists were saying and the mic kept messing up. It was a chill crowd with a good lineup. I don't know why busta rhymes didnt perform full songs.

In 2012, rap legend Busta Rhymes made a triumphant return to the game with two Grammy nominations for "Look At Me Now," his chart-topping collaboration with young R&B star Chris Brown. Rhymes continued to assert his preeminence on the Superstars of Hip Hop Tour in 2013, delivering songs like "Kill Dem" and "Respect My Conglomerate" with his signature machine gun speed and entertaining ticket buyers with his outré style and seizure-inspired dance moves. Since signing with Cash Money Records in 2011, Rhymes has been busier than ever, releasing a spate of successful singles including "Twerk It" featuring Nicki Minaj from his 2014 album E.L.E.2 (Extinction Level Event 2).
Rhymes's idiosyncratic style suits his Jamaican heritage and Brooklyn upbringing. After signing to Elektra Records at Just 17, Rhymes found himself collaborating with the biggest names in the industry, gaining notoriety for his impressive verses on tracks by A Tribe Called Quest, Boyz II Men, and Mary J. Blige. In 1995, director John Singleton cast Rhymes in the film Higher Learning, but the following year would prove the most pivotal in his rise to stardom. His 1996 debut album The Coming was an overnight success, landing at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and earning Rhymes his breakout hit with "Woo-Hah!! (Got You All in Check)," which was accompanied by one of the most iconic music videos of the decade. He would go on to release seven more Top 10 albums throughout the '90s and 2000's, including The Big Bang in 2006, his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Rhymes continues to bring his outrageous style, leftfield wit and virtuoso delivery to his live performances, building anticipation for his live concerts in support of 2014's E.L.E.2 (Exctinction Level Event 2).

Worst ran concert I've ever seen. Poorly organized, Bad MC, Bad Sound Guy, Lame Stage Show, and Pathetic effort by the performers.
Great show!!! Too $hort was best in my opion! Great Venue! Lil kim about got booed off stage but she redeemed herself! Still Lil Kim fan for life even though i was not impressed with her performance! Scarface killed it and Meth and Red had SO much Energy!! Busta was sweet too! I didnt want the night to end! Bravo to the real hip hop artists for a stella show!!
This was the event to attend for anyone interested in raw hip hop at its best. Scarface, Too $hort, Redman, Method Man, Lil Kim, and Busta Rhymes have all been instrumental in defining and redefining hip hop with their excellent contributions to its history. This concert marked a great opportunity to witness some of the g.o.a.ts of hip hop all in one venue at once. This cast of artists are all pioneers of hip hop in one of its greatest and toughest eras to be an mc. It was a great honor to witness a show that someone who bleeds hip hop, or is simply curious of hip hop would enjoy.
Clean! Amazing! Everything was so well put together. We danced like we were in the 90's! I had the time of my life!
Best this year I hope they come back next year I'll go see them again I love too short
The concert was live from the beginning to the end! All performers was AMAZING!!
What a great show! 1204 was an awesome emcee. Everyone did their thing.
was a amazing show up in till lil kim came out. she sucked so bad and the energy method man and red man had coming from the crowd just went way, we sat down the whole time and even went to get drinks and use the bathroom when she was on the stage
This was a great show. I was pleased with most of the performances. Even loved the DJ spotlight. Busta Rhymes chould've talked less as well as Lil Kim.
This concert was like no other! Everyone did an awesome job and put on a great show! Even though the DJ kept messing my girl Lil Kim up she still slayed the show. Also I got to see my crush Method Man...lol
Everyone was dope except for Lil Kim. I was very disappointed with her.
R.Man&M.Man, Busta made the show. Lil Kim was trash. Everyone one else didn't do enough songs.
I was very excited about this concert. I love all of the artists in attendance. The production of this event was pretty bad. There was way too much downtime with talking whether it be from the artists or from some random DJ screaming. Lil Kim was kind of awful. Seemed like her DJ was playing incorrect songs and incorrect parts of the songs. This could have been much better. Certainly did not live up to they hype.
The show was so amazing, I had a great time, it take me back, love method Man and Red Man energy, and BUSTA, BUSTA OMG he shut it down, all the other act's I missed but I will most definitely support another show like that.
Show started late. Kid Capri was first cut short, then they had him kill time and a lot of it by talking to the crowd, when he could/should have been spinning. The sound for most of the show was so so but especially bad during Pete Rock n C.L. Lyte was good. EPMD was good and Busta was awesome but too short and not in the right order. Bussa Bus performed 3rd. This was a badly organized show by the house. The performers were on point, The house was not.
only if Busta didn't introduce the new guy he would have been the BEST proformance! but Busta was second and EPMD was the best. Didn't listen to Pete Rock and CL Smooth growing up.
We arrived to the show at about 8:30 and was afraid that we missed a lot. The show did not get underway until about 9:45 and the show was scheduled to begin at 7:30. The order of the show was rearranged for some reason and Busta Rhymes performed 3rd instead of last. I'm figuring because Busta wanted to leave the concert early to go party. Kid Capri's set was cut short for some reason and they were still not prepared to begin the concert... it was a bit of a disappointment.
Started over one hour late and was very disorganized. Many songs were cut short
This was the worst show i have been too in a long time. The show was supposed to start at 7:30, it started at 9:15. That was Kid Capri on the turntables for 20 min. They took his turntables off stage and he just stood on stage talking about anything for 30 more minutes trying to buy time.He then asked us to be patient and he left the stage. We waited another 15 minutes before Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth came on. They were on for around 35 min. and then Busta Ryhmes came on. We couldnt stay for his full act because it was almost 11:00 by then. These times are no exaggeration. I do not recommend this show. We didnt get to see MC Lyte or EPMD.
