In 2012, rap legend Busta Rhymes made a triumphant return to the game with two Grammy nominations for "Look At Me Now," his chart-topping collaboration with young R&B star Chris Brown. Rhymes continued to assert his preeminence on the Superstars of Hip Hop Tour in 2013, delivering songs like "Kill Dem" and "Respect My Conglomerate" with his signature machine gun speed and entertaining ticket buyers with his outré style and seizure-inspired dance moves. Since signing with Cash Money Records in 2011, Rhymes has been busier than ever, releasing a spate of successful singles including "Twerk It" featuring Nicki Minaj from his 2014 album E.L.E.2 (Extinction Level Event 2).
Rhymes's idiosyncratic style suits his Jamaican heritage and Brooklyn upbringing. After signing to Elektra Records at Just 17, Rhymes found himself collaborating with the biggest names in the industry, gaining notoriety for his impressive verses on tracks by A Tribe Called Quest, Boyz II Men, and Mary J. Blige. In 1995, director John Singleton cast Rhymes in the film Higher Learning, but the following year would prove the most pivotal in his rise to stardom. His 1996 debut album The Coming was an overnight success, landing at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and earning Rhymes his breakout hit with "Woo-Hah!! (Got You All in Check)," which was accompanied by one of the most iconic music videos of the decade. He would go on to release seven more Top 10 albums throughout the '90s and 2000's, including The Big Bang in 2006, his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Rhymes continues to bring his outrageous style, leftfield wit and virtuoso delivery to his live performances, building anticipation for his live concerts in support of 2014's E.L.E.2 (Exctinction Level Event 2).
Busta Rhymes was Magical and Great The energy was second to none One of the best nights of my life
That show was dope I had so much fun especially when NORE came out bust a little good I love Remy Ma Lil Kim they did there thing soul for real still sound good I really enjoyed myself Lil Mosey hurt things too
I'm giving this a 3 star because of the people that held the event, the announcers that kept coming instage in-between performers, and the so called "fans"that left when Busta came out on stage. Busta Rhymes, Lil Kim, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, and Lil Mo were all fantastic and deserve a 5 star! They are legends and should be treated as such! Now, I will say the announcers really annoyed me. After every performance they would come out and talk to the crowd, then promote the "After Party". It got old REAL quick. I don't care about some dumb after party, I want to see my favorite artists perform! Then later they decided to have a sing-off with each other! I'm not here to see them compete with each other. They were taking precious time away from the performers for their dumb skits! All the concerts I have been to, I have never been interrupted by so many breaks and promotes. It killed the vibe, I'm going from excitement to tired because I have to listen to them talk. Then the performers were being rushed! When Busta finally came out as the last act, during his performance he called out that there was a timer saying he only had 2 minutes and 37 seconds left to perform when he has 35 years of hit! They shouldn't have rushed him, and never have I seen a venue rush the performer if they were going over the time it was scheduled to end! Then so called "fans"started leaving during Busta Rhymes performance! You are not real fans when you do something like that! This was one of the most disrespectful things I have ever seen and I feel so bad for Busta for how he was treated! Loved him and the performance he was able to give me!
I have a good time every time I go to the broadwalk hall the staff is respectful and nice and always get treated with respect can’t wait to go back and enjoy myself
I've seen Busta before and it's the same talking points. To much talking and it's exactly the same points....He 2ants us to turn up but he stopped music to talk and have Q & A. Other Artis I really enjoyed, Fat Joe, Remi Ma, Lil Kim ♥️
I had an amazing time I was partying from the beginning to the end, seeing some of my favorites in person is always an amazing experience to me!!
