About

After three decades, well over 24 million records sold, a GRAMMY Award nomination, 1 billion streams, and a procession of #1 hits, BUSH stand tall as rock outliers whose imprint only widens as the years pass. Turn on rock radio, and it won't be long before you hear "Glycerine" or "Machinehead." On the big screen, their music courses through blockbuster franchises such as John Wick. On the road, they regularly pack amphitheaters and ignite festival stages. In 1994, the group delivered their seminal debut, Sixteen Stone. It notably achieved a six-times platinum certification, remaining a pillar of modern rock. Rolling Stone cited it among "1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative's Greatest Year," while Stereogum exclaimed, "It feels like music untethered from time, separate from its history." The triple-platinum follow-up, Razorblade Suitcase, bowed at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and boasted "Swallowed," which garnered a GRAMMY Award nomination in the category of "Best Hard Rock Performance." Their catalog spans the platinum The Science of Things [1999] through The Kingdom [2020], which arrived to acclaim highlighted by "Flowers On A Grave" and "Bullet Holes." As indefatigable as ever, the band released its ninth full-length offering, The Art of Survival [BMG] in late 2022. Thus far, they have notched 25 straight Top 40 hits on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts, earning six #1 entries. This Fall, the band is releasing their first ever career retrospective, Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023.

  • Bush still has it.

    by Crystal85 on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

The first two groups were ok. When Filter came on the whole place started to get into it. When Bush took the stage the crowd went crazy. It was amazing. I will go again next time Bush is in town. The place came alive.

  • Bush was awesome!

  • Bush is back in a big way!!

    by KRYMS0N on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

This show was one not to be missed by any Bush fan. Even though the original lineup could not return, the new additions were very welcomed by the throngs of fans that awaited see the return of the groundbreaking grunge rock band. On a personal note, I was very anxious to see Bush live. Being that it was my first time doing so, given that when I was younger, I was unable to. I have been to hundreds of shows and this one is, without question, in my top three of most memorable shows. Bush was the first band that I found a passion for. Gavin Rossdale was who originally inspired me to be a vocalist/musician. As I held conversations with random people who were in attendance. I noticed that my story for why I loved Bush was very similar to others. It was the first band we were really exposed to. The opening act was phenomenal. Being that they seemed to be without a bassist at the moment. The lead vocalist really knew how to grab your attention and make you want to move. I was most impressed with his him doing a handstand while screaming. For those of you who think that's not impressive. Try doing a handstand on one hand first. Back to the main course. Bush was very fluid and energetic. The crowd was not as energetic as I was personally hoping for. Which would be one of only two complaints. The other being that neither Swallowed or Mouth were on the set list. With a new album coming very soon, they will be touring again I am sure. And I will be seeing them again on that tour.

  • If you are a Bush fan you have to go!

Awesome show! Bush does not disappoint. They sound the same and Gavin's stage presence is inspiring.

  • Surprised!

by Jimmonster on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. It's almost been 9 years since Bush played and didn't even feel like they lost a beat. Gavin sounded great. The Palladium is also a nice venue to see a show. Best part was that Filter also played which was a nice surprise.

  • New and Old

by Srullee on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Never thought I'd like New Politics, as that song on the radio blows. All of their other songs are awesome and the break dancing is off the hook. Filter and the other band blew. They should've just kept them of the ticket all together, so that New Politics and Bush could've had more time to play.

Was never at the Palladium...great venue, plenty of bars and great sound system, and close to Dart train. All four bands were amazing, and Bush rocked past midnight..truely an unforgetable evening.

  • Amazing show by Bush!!

by Petrus on 10/18/10The Ritz Ybor - Ybor CityRating: 5 out of 5

One of my top 5 favorite concerts of all time. They were tight, not missing a beat. No fancy stage setup needed..pure bliss for my senses! Would travel far and wide to see that show again. The venue was perfect and I'll be checking for future shows there.

  • Left wanting...

by Swallowed on 10/18/10The Ritz Ybor - Ybor CityRating: 2 out of 5

First show I've been to in a long while if no warm up act... What's the deal with that ? Was home at 10pm... wanting much more . Ybor is dead -at least parking is only $1.00. Maybe Gavin couldn't find a baby sitter? To top it off the band played a short set- with no encore . This was not the full band either-only original members were Gavin and the drummer. That said the music was duplicated pretty well and accustics in the ritz are ok. The a/c wasn't on and it was really hot too. Nothing played from Golden State which was disappointing. Though it didn't sell that well I think it may be Bush's best overall effort. It came out right as the music industry tanked. I guess I'm left with the feeling that it's been 10 years or so since they last played Tampa then they do a short set- and with no encore. Should have played about 4-5 more tunes . The whole evening was really short lived. The tics with all the add ons were 50.00. Don't sign me up for the next time you... "Comedown".

  • Bush was Phenomenal!!!

by hC2010 on 10/17/10The Ritz Ybor - Ybor CityRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was great, not too crowded. Bush put on a very nostalgic show, giving fans what they wanted to hear.

  • Bush was Awesome!

by bbki on 10/17/10The Ritz Ybor - Ybor CityRating: 5 out of 5

Gavin and the band played their hearts out! Gavin's voice was pristine and powerful, and overall they sounded great. They played a set of their greatest hits, and did not play new music. Most of all, it was great to see Gavin having fun on stage playing with Bush. Fans have been waiting for a Bush reunion for a long time, and the Band did not disappoint!

Small crowd at the Ritz which made the event much more intimate. Awesome show, glad they played their old stuff!

  • Bush rocked!

by concertlover81 on 10/16/10The Ritz Ybor - Ybor CityRating: 4 out of 5

I was excited to see Bush perform again, more than 8 years since the last time I saw them! However, I was a bit disappointed that they only played 12 songs and there was no opening act... and I paid $50 for it!
