About

After three decades, well over 24 million records sold, a GRAMMY Award nomination, 1 billion streams, and a procession of #1 hits, BUSH stand tall as rock outliers whose imprint only widens as the years pass. Turn on rock radio, and it won't be long before you hear "Glycerine" or "Machinehead." On the big screen, their music courses through blockbuster franchises such as John Wick. On the road, they regularly pack amphitheaters and ignite festival stages. In 1994, the group delivered their seminal debut, Sixteen Stone. It notably achieved a six-times platinum certification, remaining a pillar of modern rock. Rolling Stone cited it among "1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative's Greatest Year," while Stereogum exclaimed, "It feels like music untethered from time, separate from its history." The triple-platinum follow-up, Razorblade Suitcase, bowed at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and boasted "Swallowed," which garnered a GRAMMY Award nomination in the category of "Best Hard Rock Performance." Their catalog spans the platinum The Science of Things [1999] through The Kingdom [2020], which arrived to acclaim highlighted by "Flowers On A Grave" and "Bullet Holes." As indefatigable as ever, the band released its ninth full-length offering, The Art of Survival [BMG] in late 2022. Thus far, they have notched 25 straight Top 40 hits on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts, earning six #1 entries. This Fall, the band is releasing their first ever career retrospective, Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023.

  • the whole thing was amazing

I enjoyed the whole concert. I thought Gavins sweating was kinda gross, but I've loved him forever so I got over it. Lol, I even named my son Gavin due to being such a good fan.

  • better than ever!

by BushFan on 10/25/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

3 opening bands were ok, Filter being the best. Bush was amazing, even better than they were 10 years ago. We almost got up and drove to Houston the next day to see them again.

  • Great Show!

Bush and Filter put on an incredible show! Both were very enthusiastic and really got hte crowd going! They played a lot of songs I knew and some others that were newer and also great songs! We didnt really see too much of the 2 opening bands, as we showed up late. Awesome show! :)

  • Glad to see they are back!

    by jay62488 on 10/25/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

After a generous hiatus, Bush didn't skip a beat with this show! Bush played all of the songs I wanted them to play and a few new. I felt a good vibe from Gavin; I hope he has come to his senses and will keep Bush together for a long time to come. I will say this though. The stage presentation, i.e. lights, could have been better. Because the show was at the Palladium I'm sure they had to change their stage up a bit. However, they should take notes from The Deftones.

  • BUSH

    by MACH9999 on 10/25/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Gavin was awesome, although the rest of the band seemed out of touch, hanging back and never making eye contact with the audience. It was definitely "the Gavin show"! Still, he rocked, playing lots of favorites!!

Opening the act with Machinehead, Bush put on an amazing show! If you have a chance to see them you will not be disappointed.

  • New Politics and Filter rocked out!!

    by jeremyt99 on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Good show for a small venue. Bush was ok but Filter and New Politics stole the show... Good crowd, good times!!!

  • Bush has not lost the touch!

by scord on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Bush did a great job at Palladium Ballroom! Gavin Rossdale is still hot after all these years!!!

  • Bush rocked, but who were these Politics?!

by MiggyMiggs on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was defeaning, I mean my ears are still ringing. But who was this opening act called New Politics? Those guys undoubtedly rocked. The lead singer alone had enough energy to fuel the whole crowd while doing backflips off the amps. Insane! The Paper Tongues were impressive but need to lose the 80's rap gear. Filter really let it loose. To be honest, Bush should've opened for Filter. And speaking of Bush, Gavin Rossdale hasn't lost the look, but went soft on the vocals. I was expecting the grunge-toned Gavin I grew up listening to, but maybe he was saving it for a bigger show. Either way, his new band members played up to the role. We'll just have to wait to see if Gavin really comes back or if they're changing their entire personna. Gavin says it's coming soon on through their new music.

  • Bush was EPIC!

Bush and Filter put on an amazing show at the Palladium. Great venue for it, too! I will never ever forget this show.

  • Bush Dallas, TX

by Disturbance on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Bush was great! Lived up to all expectations. Played the hits, high energy, great sound. All of the opening bands including Filter...skip them. They sounded bad!

  • bush

by martumaa on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Bush is awesome! Great live band, you would not even tell that the band even broke up for 9 years, strong as ever, and they gave 100% at the dallas show.

  • An OK Date Night

by DrChiro on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

I've seen Bush 4 or 5 times now, and this was certainly the least impressive show. The energy they used to have is lacking. Gavin is a bit long-winded in between songs - especially when pleading with fans to give the "new Bush" a chance, and purchase the disc when available. I thought their set list was quite short, and while they played many of the greats, they played several entirely lackluster songs that I've never heard. Filter was pretty cool. All in all, a pretty fun date night, though Bush's new disc will have to be stellar for me to see them again live.

  • The show

by TexasCards on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time! Nothing earth shattering, but the set list was good and they rocked like 20 year old's.

  • Bush rocked hard!

    by lilkd417 on 10/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

I loved the show! It started a little late, and having three bands before them was frustrating since it meant they didn't come on til around 11, but it was well worth the wait! They played all their classics! AMAZING!

One of the best concerts I have ever been to! A dream come true.
