Former singer of Heroes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury helped turn Spanish rock into a worldwide craze back in the 90s. No stranger to blowout tours, his band lit up stages all over the U.S. and Europe. He’s since evolved into a talented solo musician with a sound that runs the gamut from electro to Latin rock to industrial music. Enrique Bunbury concerts are always a hit, drawing in longtime fans and creating new ones. He has a remarkable ability to fill each tour with radically different material as his musical influences and sound are constantly in flux. Now he takes the stage again to promote his 2013 album Palosanto with a 2014 tour that will cover Latin America, Spain and the U.S., giving ticket holders a chance to see Bunbury's famous pyrotechnic shows and outrageous costume changes.
Bunbury began his career in the early 1980s when he debuted in a high school band. After playing for a few years, he joined the band Copi, which would go through various reformations until shaping themselves into Heroes del Silencio, who are best known for their 1995 album Avalancha. As a solo artist, his 2011 album Licenciado Cantinas rose to No. 2 on the charts. With singles such as "Frente a Frente," "Lady Blue," "Bailando con el Enemigo" and "Infinito," he has become a household name in the Spanish rock industry. "Despierta," the hit single from Palosanto, can be heard on radio stations from LA to London, and everywhere in between. Fans can expect to hear more from Bunbury in the coming year as his new music, vibrant performances and off-the-wall theatrical flair always keep them coming back for more.
Enrique Bunbury came last november 8 to san francisco and he's a very good singer and a very nice person. I went to watch his concert, and it was so amazing. I was waiting for that moment all my life, so the concert was unforgettable, thank you so much .
Enrique Bunbury must be heard live, no question about it!!!! The acoustics were very good at the venue, so it allowed for the full range of sound on those mad guitar solos!!! An unforgettable experience!
The concert was great!!!!!!!! I had such a great time watching Enrique perform. He is such a extraordinary singer!!!!!!!!! I Love his music and everything was really good!! I recommend others to listen to his music because in my personal opinion he has the most amazing voice and lyrics!! hes the best as a solo artist and even with the group Heroes del silencio the best rock band of spanish he can always proved that his voice is the most espectacular in the media of music! I saw his show in Vegas early this year... in February... that was so cool...the whole experience was... my first time in Vegas as it were. anywho, this time I went, drank a bit enought to get a buzz ... AND BUNBURY AND THE BAND WERE GREAT.... halfway thru the show my buzz went away and that's when I noticed something... BUNBURY AND THE BAND WERE GREAT!!... seriously, i thought the whole "experience" was about the drinking and who was there or wasnt, which in a way it always affects it right? but the music alone was awesome... thanks Hoser, and may Bunbury keep rocking it for many years to come...

The concert started on time, from where I was sitted the view was great. Great performance the best Bunbury concert I've seen, the set list was excellent. By the end of the concert i could not speak I hope he comes more often to the Bay Area.

the concert is awesome. enrique is an awesome performer, he has an incredible voice. he created a great environment, its was a great show. i reccomend anyone who hasnt seen him live to do so asap. im waiting for him to come back.
If you like Spanish Rock from a less radical prospective than from Heroes Del Silencio, which Bunbury was a part of, this is the concert for you. The Stage was excellent, the lighting was colorful and bright with video in the backround, His stage presents always commanded attention. Although his voice has changed intentionally for the type of less radical music he now sings, it was excellent for the venue and theme of his music. Always pleasing and acknowledging the crowd. The drummer was great. His guitarists were ok, being that they did not seem to create a distiction between sounds of the three guitar players (not including Bunbury) although the music to each theme (song) does not seem to allow it (in other words a individual sound to each guitar used). I loved the fact that he sang from a few of most of his albums, giving us a taste of the old songs with new style of rock play. He was never boring, musically, lyrically, or on stage presents. His woredrobe was great. The new interpretion by the new musicians on "El Extranjero" especially by the guy that plays the accordian was excellent. The peolpe were great and grateful of the band. There was a fan who threw what seem to be a thong, and others threw deck cards as symbols of the freak show concert of a year ago (sign of appreciation from fans), while others threw mexican flags as a recognition of his appreciation for Latin America. The whole crowd sang along with Bunbury, as though we were all in a small bar with old friends singing. Overall an excellent experience. This commentary coming from a fan like me, who has been following Bunbury, and have no formal or informal music experience to validate my comments with authority. Take it for what it is. An opinion
I had a blast at the concert everything went good althought the staff at the warfield were really rude and cazy but ENRIQUE WAS great i love him !!!!

I have seen him 2 times in concert. Earlier this Feb2009 in Las Vegas and I fell in love with him even more. I just saw him again in San Diego and it was AWSOME!!! I love the way he sings other singer's songs but in his own unique way. You can't even compare him to anybody else. His music is so diverse and you see hints of other types of spanish music reflected in his own songs. I will see him again and again and I can't get tired of his music. He puts on a good show as well. Gotta see him!!!!
Enrique Bunbury did a great performance. Audio was awesome...the atmosphere of the Warfield made it worth while.
Words can't describe. I have been listening to Enrique Bunbury for the past 15 years and I couldn't believe when it was anounce he would be in San Francisco. It was like a dream come through because I have actually thought about it about two months ago...and specifically to that venue. I really said it to myself, why doesn't he come to San Francisco to the Warfield? and two months later I saw it in Ticketmaster, I almost fainted... CL
It was worth the wait! hadn't seen him in years and believe me I will wait another 7 years to see him again!! He was an amazing voice, hes full of energy and he loves his crowd. This is the type of show I would go see over and over again.
Definitely worth going to see Enrique Bunbury in concert!!! The man is a hell of an artist and gives his heart and soul in every song. The audience response to his sometimes shy and extravagant movements while he sings are the signs of a special connection that he has with his audience. The man lyrics and powerful voice have no match in the "Rock en Espanol" world. He is definitely one of the greatest exponents of the genre and a sure legend. Viva Enrique!
The concert was fantastic!!! Enrique still has the same magic he had 20 years ago! He is truly one of the last romantic and real rock en español poets who makes you feel his music move through your vains with as much passion as he sings to his lyrics, past and new... It was an honor to see him in San Francisco, since his tours rarely make it to the American continent. Simply flawless...loved it...felt it... lived it!
