About

Former singer of Heroes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury helped turn Spanish rock into a worldwide craze back in the 90s. No stranger to blowout tours, his band lit up stages all over the U.S. and Europe. He’s since evolved into a talented solo musician with a sound that runs the gamut from electro to Latin rock to industrial music. Enrique Bunbury concerts are always a hit, drawing in longtime fans and creating new ones. He has a remarkable ability to fill each tour with radically different material as his musical influences and sound are constantly in flux. Now he takes the stage again to promote his 2013 album Palosanto with a 2014 tour that will cover Latin America, Spain and the U.S., giving ticket holders a chance to see Bunbury's famous pyrotechnic shows and outrageous costume changes.

Bunbury began his career in the early 1980s when he debuted in a high school band. After playing for a few years, he joined the band Copi, which would go through various reformations until shaping themselves into Heroes del Silencio, who are best known for their 1995 album Avalancha. As a solo artist, his 2011 album Licenciado Cantinas rose to No. 2 on the charts. With singles such as "Frente a Frente," "Lady Blue," "Bailando con el Enemigo" and "Infinito," he has become a household name in the Spanish rock industry. "Despierta," the hit single from Palosanto, can be heard on radio stations from LA to London, and everywhere in between. Fans can expect to hear more from Bunbury in the coming year as his new music, vibrant performances and off-the-wall theatrical flair always keep them coming back for more.

    The magic, the admosfere that emerge from the performance last night was amazing !!!! I have follow hes carrere since i first her about him when he used to be with the greates band of all... Heroes del Silencio and like always he gives hes heart and hes soul in all of his shows... hope he comes back again, to go and see him again Enrique Bunbury The greatest song and lyris writer this world have ever created....

    The event location was awesome and seating was excellent, Bar was available in all levels and most important for me the climate was great. Please try to get more events with this artist;Mr. Bunbury's concerts are dinamic and his music is awesome.

    It was a great show. Enrique Bunbury demonstrated to all his San Diego, Tijuana, Mexicali and Imperial Valley fans that he is a great artist. The music was great a lot of variations in his music. Surprisingly he sang Heroes del Silencio music that I never thought he would sing again. It was just AMAZING.

    What spanish rock should be! Bunbury is full of energy and puts on a great show. The ex-frontman of Heroes del Silencio is making a new name for himself as a soloist and proves to be exceptional. You will definitely not want to miss a second of the concert and pass on that bathroom break. A must see.

    Bunbury Has a really good voice and he can def. sing...he has his own style and the lyrics are awesome..BUUUT the Nokia theater needs to have a better sound system because it wasn't too clear...

    The show was great from beggining to end. It was electrifing and even the fans who didnt know all his new material would still get caught up with the great performance. The encores he did were amazing, the whole show was amazing. If he ever comes back you bet ill be there again.

    Loved the atmosphere pit seats is the way to go to experience this ambience, although at the Nokia there is no bad seat. Crowd was awsome and everything went well!

    I have been a Bunbury fan since the first time I heard his music. His music was better sounding when he played with Uracan Ambulante. I would love to see him in a duo with Nacho Vega, he gave us a taste of Nacho Vega in "Tiempo de la Cerezas" and left us craving for more. I'm still wating for his best creation.

    The event was great from beginning to end. I enjoyed the sound and lighting. Betty Page as a back drop, cleaver. It kept my eyes on the stage and far from wandering. A great crowd lots of beautiful women but I did expect more people. Bundury is a living legend. The show got better as the Stellas went down. Not complaining but I would have like for Enrique to sing La chispa Adecuada and that’s because that’s one of my favorite songs. Saw him at the Gibson on Fed 26 but I was late. I was there for the entire show this time. Enrique never disappoints. Great Show!!

    The concert was amazing!!! IF YOU ARE A FAN YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! The one problem I had with it was that it didn't start on time.. it was about 30 minutes late, but to be fair that was probably because people didn't start to show up untiil the show was supposed to start. He was breathe taking!!!
