About

BUCKCHERRY IN CONCERT:

The sex, drugs, & rock and roll ethos of legendary hard rock bands like Motley Crue and Van Halen is alive and well in the new millennium with Buckcherry. Josh Todd and company may have taken a few years off in the '00s, but 2013's Confessions displayed the same uncompromising dedication to chasing skirt and partying hard the band has become known for. At their 2013 shows, Buckcherry floored fans with adrenaline-filled sets of hits like "Lit Up" and "Sorry," building anticipation for more shenanigans on their 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Anaheim, California, in 1995, the band got their start under the name Sparrow before switching to Buckcherry for their self-titled 1999 debut. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseakers Albums chart, spawning several hits and landing the band an opening slot on Lenny Kravitz's 1999 Freedom Tour. After going on hiatus in 2002, the band reformed for 2006 album 15, racking up several more hits including the platinum-selling singles "Sorry" and "Crazy B*tch." In addition to a stint on Motley Crue's Crue Fest tour in 2008, Buckcherry opened for KISS on their 2009/10 North American tour, further adding to their cred as heirs to the hard rock throne.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Buckcherry always puts on a great show. If you have not seen them live and you love rock & roll they are a must to see."

"Good old-fashioned kickass rock and roll. Josh Todd rocked the stage and his vocals are incredible."

"The guys were great!!! The sound was really clear - vocals was balanced between guitars and drums. Talked with some band members later after the show and it is nice to know that they still love doing shows and are not just 'performing.'"

    Buckcherry..awsome as always!!

by DKWitter on 7/12/09Mid Hudson Civic Center - Poughkeepsie

The show was held at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, not The Civic Center. I heard it was due to lack of ticket sales. Yet, at the door there were people trying to get in!! I only went to see Buckcerry and they were great. They experienced microphone/electrical difficulties, but that was not their fault! They also apologized for it.

    Buckcherry was AWESOME!!!

by Diva65 on 7/12/09Broome County Arena - Binghamton

I'm sure they would've preferred to sell more tickets to the show at the Broome Co. Arena, however, this made the show much more intimate and like they were performing for just you and your friends. They are great live!!!

    'Crazy Bitch' of a Concert

by patty44 on 7/12/09House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

My cousin and husband kept singing a song by Buckcherry called “Crazy Bitch” (something I was becoming after hearing it the 100th time). When I saw Buckcherry was playing in Atlantic City I booked tickets for all three of us. Buckcherry was so much better than I thought they would be. We were so close and the tickets were so cheap! It made me forget that we had to stand through all the bands that played that night. But that was ok because we ended up dancing and having so much fun while Buckcherry played. They sounded even better than on radio or CD. Josh Todd is such an impending unstoppable force. The best concert I have ever seen this close. The Who was great but were many years (and seats back) ago. What can I say - If they ever play in your area you must go experience them. I cannot stop singing or humming their songs. From a new lifelong Buckcherry fan. The first band, Royal Bliss played at least 5 great songs. Their lead singer has a really strong, great voice. I was so impressed that I bought their CD that night. We played it all the way back home from Atlantic City. My cousin loved the "I Was Drunk” song which continues on with … "and I was Proud - After 10,000 beers and 28 years I finally figured it out ..." She would have bought her own CD but ran out of money after drinking too many ($6!) beers that night. :-)

    Buckcherry ROCKS!!!

by LynnShaw on 7/12/09House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

Loved, loved, loved the BC show at House of Blues in AC! Josh sounded great and the playlist was awesome. One suggestion: bring earplugs!!! It was so loud my eardrums were throbbing. Ended up rolling up pieces of napkin and putting them in my ears to soften it a bit.

    Buckcherry ROCKS!!!!

by MelonPopper on 7/8/09Coca-Cola Pavilion at Destination Daytona - Ormond Beach

Inervoid opened up at about 7pm, and I can't say that I liked them. I listened to a couple of their songs and decided to run around Destination Daytona and check out some bikes and bars. Me and my fiance had some shots to get a good buzz going and returned to the show once Nonpoint started playing. They were alright, I admit to not really being into them back in the day. They spaced out some of their more popular songs, maybe even played some new ones (I wouldn't know). When Buckcherry came out on stage I didn't care about anybody else. I have seen Buckcherry 6 or 7 times now and I will have to tell you they ALWAYS ROCK. The sound wasn't quite as good as last year at Coca-Cola Pavilion (yeah they played here last year too) but not because of Buckcherry, the mix was off. Josh Todd sounded awesome. I thought the band might die playing this event, because it was so hot and they play with a ton of energy, running around the stage, jumping around and just being crazy. Buckcherry played songs off of every album, not just the new one, Black Butterfly, so it was awesome to hear all the old stuff too. Whenever they come to Central Florida again my fiance and I will be there. Hopefully it will be in the House of Blues again...where they have A/C and a better sound system. I gave it only three stars because of the other two bands and the sound mix.

    Buckcherry was Awesome!

by Jimmy66 on 7/4/09Coca-Cola Pavilion at Destination Daytona - Ormond Beach

Couldn't ask for a better venue or better bands to start the 4th of July weekend. It was all-american. In your face Rock and Roll from Nonpoint and Buckcherry at the worlds largest Harley Davidson, Destination Daytona. Last weekend we saw Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd and this weekend was just as awesome.

    Buckcherry rocked the place!

by Cherybomb on 7/4/09Coca-Cola Pavilion at Destination Daytona - Ormond Beach

Nonpoint put on a decent show but I think that the setlist differed from what I was used to hearing down in South Florida. Of course the SoFla setlists appealed to the crowd playing the songs in Spanish so it makes sense that they toned that down for the fans in Daytona. All in all it was enjoyable. Buckcherry, as always, was an amazing show. Even through the newer songs the crowd really stayed into it which was great. Josh Todd's energy really set the tone for a good time. I brought a friend who just knew a few of the songs which got radio play and she had a blast and totally loved them. She was thanking me for introducing her to Nonpoint and especially Buckcherry. Looks like they just gained a new fan.
