About

BUCKCHERRY IN CONCERT:

The sex, drugs, & rock and roll ethos of legendary hard rock bands like Motley Crue and Van Halen is alive and well in the new millennium with Buckcherry. Josh Todd and company may have taken a few years off in the '00s, but 2013's Confessions displayed the same uncompromising dedication to chasing skirt and partying hard the band has become known for. At their 2013 shows, Buckcherry floored fans with adrenaline-filled sets of hits like "Lit Up" and "Sorry," building anticipation for more shenanigans on their 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Anaheim, California, in 1995, the band got their start under the name Sparrow before switching to Buckcherry for their self-titled 1999 debut. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseakers Albums chart, spawning several hits and landing the band an opening slot on Lenny Kravitz's 1999 Freedom Tour. After going on hiatus in 2002, the band reformed for 2006 album 15, racking up several more hits including the platinum-selling singles "Sorry" and "Crazy B*tch." In addition to a stint on Motley Crue's Crue Fest tour in 2008, Buckcherry opened for KISS on their 2009/10 North American tour, further adding to their cred as heirs to the hard rock throne.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Buckcherry always puts on a great show. If you have not seen them live and you love rock & roll they are a must to see."

"Good old-fashioned kickass rock and roll. Josh Todd rocked the stage and his vocals are incredible."

"The guys were great!!! The sound was really clear - vocals was balanced between guitars and drums. Talked with some band members later after the show and it is nice to know that they still love doing shows and are not just 'performing.'"

    No Pits in Buckcherry

by AndrewT on 9/19/09Val Air Ballroom - West Des Moines

Buckcherry came, rocked and left. Plain and simple. Different from other acts in today's hyper-gloriefied, arena rock shows, Buckcherry simply delivered the hits without the pomp and circumstance other bands use as a crutch. There were no lasers, pyrotechnics, dancing girls or stunts; simply a catelog of their hottest hits smartly mixed with lesser known songs from the past that will entice all to seek out their older material. Josh Todd is made of energy and the band followed suit. While Todd couldv'e reached out and connected more with the crowd in dialouge, the band sounded tight, enthusiastic and loud. As I type, my ears continue to ring with 'Lit Up' and 'Crazy B*tch' bouncing off the walls of my skull. A good, solid rock show seems to be a bit of a treasure hunt these days, but Buckcherry certainly put the 'X' on the spot.

Buckcherry was a Crazy Bitch !

by Remi on 7/14/09Stabler Arena - Bethlehem

The Croc Rock is a small venue and is a great place to see a wonderful group of rockers like Buckcherry up close and personal. This show was great ! Buckcherry was ON. They played perfectly to the audience with their wounderful hard rock lyrics and their endless energy. Josh Todd was excellent ! This was a Must See Show.

Josh Todd & Buckcherry are INCREDIBLE!

by JMills on 7/14/09Stabler Arena - Bethlehem

I was disappointed to hear the show had been moved to Crocodile Rock although it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Pop Evil were a surprise. They were energetic and entertaining and we purchased their cd that night. Chevelle was not as good as I thought they'd be. Sounded distorted and were more laid back as performers. However...Josh Todd and Buckcherry were INCREDIBLE! We have gone to see them 3 times in the past year and they have never been a disappointment. Josh Todd is an amazing entertainer who just pulls the audience in with him as does Stevie D. and Keith Nelson. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to go and enjoy them should they get the chance! (I know we will!)_

    Great Show

by Shua on 7/13/09Stabler Arena - Bethlehem

The show was held at the Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA. The venue was good - very intimate. Chevelle, for three little guys, puts out a very powerful sound. Great set. Buckcherry made the show. The lead singer has so much energy, it just drives the crowd. Their music is so much fun and uptempo. The band was tight and sounded great. Just had a great time at this show and would definately go back to another Buckcherry show the next time they are in the area.

    Rocked, as always!

by TonaK on 7/13/09Stabler Arena - Bethlehem

Pop Evil and Royal Bliss rocked as opening acts. Could have lived with out Chevelle- music was good but no connection to the crowd. Buckcherry was awesome! Just as good as Cruefest. The event did not happen at Stabler so that sucked, but the show was good. Paid for a premium package that was lost due to te venue changing- won't do that again....

    Chevelle Stole the Show!

    by Kunks5 on 7/13/09Stabler Arena - Bethlehem

Royal Bliss was extremely good for only having one album. They were followed by Pop Evil who exploded onto the stage with powerful vocals and rocking guitar solos. Buckcherry was the headline and did an awesome job as well, but Chevelle stole the show. Pete and the rest of Chevelle played a bunch of their hits from the previous 4 albums and lit up the crowd with Sleep Apnea from the new album Sci-Fi Crimes. Pete expressed his disfaction with the venue being moved from stabler arena to Crock Rock since they had to cancel the laser light show that was to go with one of the songs they were going to play. All in all an amazing show but Chevelle ran away with the top prize.

    Chevelle Rocked the House

by ChevelleFanNJ on 7/13/09Stabler Arena - Bethlehem

Despite the venue change from Stabler Arena to a smaller venue in Allentown, the concert was amazing. Royal Bliss was great, never saw them before. Pop Evil was outstanding. But Chevelle was amazing, gave 110% and totally rocked the house. I was so impressed with Chevelle, I'm going to see them again this Wednesday in Asbury Park. I left before BuckCherry took the stage, so can't comment on their performance.

    Very much a rockin time!

by fallleaves76 on 7/13/09Broome County Arena - Binghamton

ALL the bands were amazing. The opening acts were as powerful as the headlining, which is a treat. Chevelle absolutely KICKED ASS! and Buckcherry really knew how to get the crowd going and involved...KUDOS. Its too bad the colleges had gotten out so soon, i think there would have been more people. Unfortunately the arena wasnt full, but i think that was just the timing in a bad economy cause it sure wasnt due to the lack of band power and they STILL kept it rockin and we hope to have them back again!
