BTS in Concert
BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or "Beyond the Scene", is a South Korean boy band that has been capturing the hearts of millions of fans globally since their debut in June 2013. The members of BTS are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. Gaining recognition from their authentic, self-produced music and top-notch performances to the way they interact with their fans, the band has established themselves as global superstars breaking countless world records. While imparting a positive influence through activities such as the Love Myself campaign and the UN ‘Speak Yourself' speech, BTS has mobilized millions of fans across the world (named ARMY), topped prominent music charts, sold out worldwide tours including stadiums and has been named as one of TIME 100: The Most Influential People of 2019. The band has also been recognized with numerous prestigious awards like the Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards.
BTS are serious performers with a sense of humor. They're also K-pop chart-toppers who've shattered boundaries across the world. A BTS show includes fantastic costume changes, over-the-top visuals (which often include the crowd), and a mix of rap club bangers, EDM pop, and R&B. The band first toured Japan in 2015 on the Summer Sonic Festival and Wake Up: Open Your Eyes tours. Later that year, they took their brilliance global with The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: On Stage tour. They followed that in 2017 with the Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings tour and 2018's BTS World Tour: Love Yourself. If you're not a member of the BTS Army yet, don't worry — it's just a matter of time.
BTS were formed by Korea's Big Hit Entertainment in 2010, though the lineup wasn't finalized until 2013. They align themselves with teens who are targets of criticism, stereotyping, and expectations, and they established their name with the "school trilogy" EPs in 2013 and 2014. Their first single was "No More Dream." In the fall of 2014, they released their first full album, ‘Dark & Wild,' and by 2015, the group began to make waves internationally: ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2' topped six international charts for four weeks. BTS were the first K-pop act ever to achieve such a feat, and the firsts didn't end there. In 2017, their EP ‘Love Yourself: Her' debuted in the Billboard 200's Top 10, the first K-pop album to do so. They won Top Social Artist at the Billboard Awards in both 2017 and 2018, thanks in part to a record-breaking volume of video views. In 2018, ‘Love Yourself: Tear' was the first foreign-language album to top the Billboard 200 in over 10 years. Then ‘Love Yourself: Answer' did it again, just months later. The K-pop juggernaut is unstoppable: The band has appeared on the cover of ‘Time Magazine,' and won a truckful of awards: Melon Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, Gaon Chart Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Korean Music Awards, and more.
My first concert, and nothing will be able to top what BTS does. Seriously. If you are interested in World Music, and not shy about branching out; check them out. They put on a great show.
Great venue, wherever you are seated you will have a great view, they performed for 2 1/2 hours and sounded amazing. They played all of their hit songs and even tried to help us sing along to the korean lyrics. Will definitely see them again
The concert was so much fun and BTS had was so lively and fun to watch! I hope that I can see them again on concert some time! If you have a chance to see them you should! By far one of my favorite concerts I've ever been to
I loved BTS and I love them even more after seeing them live! It was beyond amazing! They are such great performers; vocals were amazing, rapping was on point, and dancing was off the chain! I would gladly see them live again!

This was an amazing first concert experience for me. It felt so surreal and phenomenal.
The energy and sincerity that BTS brought to Rosemont for their Episode II performance was indescribable. The room was practically electric with all the excitement and they delivered such a fantastic performance that I know I will return for a second performance. Every seat in the house was a good one and I'm certain they could have sold out a bigger venue as well. I wish the hi-touch event was a bit longer than it was, but the artists were probably very tired after such a fantastic performance.
This event was definitely unforgettable and simply amazing. The audience's energy was synchronized with BTS and it was enjoying to watch. I'm still not recovered from the hi-touch event because I blanked out, but people aren't lying when they say they/re truly beautiful people who you just want to hold close to you forever. BTS really shows their love for ARMYs well and are so incredibly kind and hard-working. If in the future you are given the chance to see BTS or any other idol(s), take it. They create just blessed memories forever.
BTS was amazing!! They are great performers and did an awesome job interacting with the fans despite the language barrier! It was one of the best nights of my life and I will never forget it. Thank you BTS. The only problem I had was that the audio was distorted.
BTS was awesome! They are so talented at both singing and dancing. It was a great overall evening that highlighted their showmanship and all of the hard work that they put into their craft! I hope they return to Chicago soon! BTS FIGHTING <3
I traveled from Ohio for this concert and knew that it was going to be good. I wasn't prepared for how awesome it was though lol! BTS seriously put on one of the best concerts I've been to in awhile. The whole place was on their feet and dancing to all the songs. The guys brought so much energy and passion into each and every song, I still don't have a voice from singing along and cheering for them. Subkulture group and the staff of the Rosemont Theater were so well organized and made the whole experience perfect.
I'd like to first start off with the energy the boys had--they were well rested, and they had /so/ much fun performing! However, their english needed to be practiced a bit more, and though I expected Rapmon to really take over with his english, he didn't. Whenever they would stop for talks, the audience would be partly too loud, and the members also spoke very quickly and quietly. In the end, most of us had no idea what they were saying. Their performances were A+ though! They did so well, though you could tell they lipsynced through some songs due to difficult choreo. Overall, the concert was great! The boys were so cute, and they loved what they were doing. It was a great atmosphere!
BTS has such a great stage presence. Their dancing is impeccable, and they put so much effort into speaking English for the American fans! It was an unforgettable night
This was my first k-pop concert and it was incredible! They were full of energy and really gave it their all. I can't wait for them to come back again. :D
I accompanied my daughter because this is her FAVORITE band. Even though I wasn't expecting it, I was thoroughly entertained! These young men are very talented and even without being able to understand 98% of the songs, I really enjoyed the concert :) Now I am a fan too!! Hope #3 is close to home!!

I was so happy that I got to see this concert. BTS is my absolute favorite group, and it was a dream come true to see them live. They had a great energy and great voices which made the concert fantastic. I didn't sit down once during the entire performance, despite being exhausted from driving for 6 hours and standing outside for 4. I can't wait to see them in concert again.
BTS is my favorite group, and I would do anything to relive the experience of seeing them live again and again. They performed many of their songs and were such amazing showmen! The theatre was a great locale for this event :)
