About

British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached  No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

  • Oliver Sykes' performance really connected!

by Skyblarg on 9/24/11Roseland Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best nights of my life, easily! All the bands were spot on and filled with intense, positive energy! And Oliver Sykes's performance was much better than the last concert I went to!

  • AMAZING.

by UmmLizzy on 9/23/11Roseland Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The was one of the greatest shows I've ever been to.

  • by Anonymous on 9/23/11Roseland Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

So good. In my opinion: BMTH>Architects>Deez Nuts>Parkway Drive>On Broken Wings

  • iT WAS FUN BUT THE people WAS ridiculous!!

by NOBICHU on 9/23/11Roseland Ballroom - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

I have fun with the bands before BMTH, however the people was to high and got really crazy. Some of them were jumping, kicking and punching. I got hit on my head server time. Over all it was ok it would be better if those people could chill the hell of it !!

Very good show, awesome performance by all bands. Security played a good role as well.

  • Venue sound was fragmented and muddy.

    by RoughSeas101 on 9/23/11Roseland Ballroom - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Bottom Line: Sound engineers did a horrible job by overwhelming the drums and bass. Guitars and Vocals were fragmented meaning you had to walk around the venue floor to find a happy medium to hear all sounds tastefully and equally. Parkway Drive were great but didn't play their flagship song "wreckage". Bring Me the Horizon were not good live, period. I saw As I Lay Dying in Nokia Center Times Square 2 years ago. Now they made sure their sound engineers or whomever was in charge of sound their live show sounded like their albums. Bottom line, Research the venues because it could be a kick as band but not good seen live. Fillmore,BB King and Nokia are great venues, maybe because they are smaller than Roseland.....Hmmmmm

  • Awesome stage show

by Anonymous on 9/22/11Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5

The show was crazy!!! Parkway Drive and Bring Me The Horizon killed it.

  • Parkway Drive was incredible!

by pervertednickname on 9/18/11The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Parkway Drive had an amazing set. it was soooo heavy and the crowd was keeping up. Bring me the horizon was good, but between running through the crowd, getting girls to sing the breakdowns, and leaving out the words to songs, i wasn't all that impressed.

  • by Anonymous on 9/9/11Showbox SODO - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The few bands before the headliner, Bring Me The Horizon, were horrible, except for Architects. Bring Me The Horizon was AWESOME, this was my seventh time seeing them, and this time was definitely one of the best, it was more theatrical than usual, they sounded amazing.

  • Bmth!!!!

by RaraRenee on 9/9/11Showbox SODO - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The show started off a bit slow, but then the architects brought thr show to life and set up the amp levels for bmth!!! Just Awesome!!! Most deff a must see show, going again next time!

  • by Anonymous on 9/8/11Showbox SODO - SeattleRating: 2 out of 5

Parkway drive didn't show up so it wasn't worth the money at all.

  • Bring Me The Horizon = Must See!!

by RickySykes on 9/5/11The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

This is was a very good concert! I recommend it to EVERYONE who likes Rock concerts and doesn't mind getting pushed around A LOT by people moshing!!! I went to this concert thinking it was going to be a little more calm than it was... If u don't want to be pushed around a lot and possibly accidentally getting into a mosh, then you shouldn't go to this concert or you just shouldn't be in the front of the crowd.. Other then moshing, BMTH put on a really amazing show that I think everyone will enjoy!

  • by Bcreh001 on 11/18/10The Norva - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

This show was so amazing. It was beyond amazing. There are no words to even describe it. The first 2 bands were pretty good, Emarosa was sick and I'd never listened to them before but now I definitely love their vocals. And ABR was incredible. That's the second time I've seen them and they were JUST as good the second time. The performance level alone is a 10 out of 10. Then if you add in the vocals....EPIC. And of course BMTH didn't disappoint. They played every song I wanted to hear and It was SO amazing. The bass level in the room was CRAZY at some points. I was absolutely BLOWN away by this show. I'd go see it every single night if I could!!

  • Kick A** Show

by PapaHery on 11/18/10The Norva - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. I'm 45 and I still love going to these shows. I let the younger get in the pit and it's always fun just to watch that too. Wall of Death kicked Butt. Reminded me of two armies Charging eachother.

  • Absolutely amazing show!

by bcven on 11/18/10The Norva - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

All the bands, with the exception of This Is Hell, were absoultely amazing! The mixture of band musical styles was perfect. As the show progressed, the crowd began to become more alive. By the time Bring Me The Horizon got on stage, the crowd was absolutely stoked and ready to throw down. Bring me The Horizon was the best overall, hands down! They had a lot of energy, sounded great, and had a good blend of crowd interaction and transition into their songs. I would absolutely recommend seeing this band, and the others, to anyone.

EPIC SHOW WITH EPIC BANDS!! All the bands put on a great performance and made it all worth it.

  • Great show!

by blackrosebleeds on 11/5/10fox theater - PomonaRating: 5 out of 5

The show was really awesome from the pit ! Getiing in was really fast and we all got wristbands for the pit..There was a lot of energy in the crowd ,and the bands were great..although the security gaurd was totally lame, the crowd surfing was awesome ;) august burns red kind of stole the show but bring me the horizon did freaking awesome too..i wish they wouldve played more off of count your blessings, and i wish they would have stayed on longer because they get down! but all in all everyone did fantastic.i'd go again .

  • August Burns Red was absolutely amazing!

by Amehsoo on 11/1/10The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 5 out of 5

Was completely worth seeing. Would definitely see these bands again. Although August Burns Red should have been headlining instead of BMTH because they were so much better. Definitely amazing show though.

  • Awesome energy.

by KaptainZorro on 11/1/10Club Nokia - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Show was incredible. Never heard Emarosa before this show, now a definite fan. Went for August Burns Red, great show, great presence. Same with Bring Me The Horizon. Great energy. Be sure to be in the pit to get the best experience.
