About

British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached  No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

Took a little time getting into the venue, but nothing you wouldn't expect from a sold out concert. All performances put on a great show. The crowd got hyped with Issues starting and Letlive. Brought it up with more crazy antics. Of mice & men killed it and did great a playing a mixture of promoting their new album and playing songs off their older songs. Bring me the horizon put on an amazing show I did not want to end. Lights, confetti, smoke, mosh pits, and every aspect of the show was phenomenal.

Great concert and an amazing place great view from anywhere would defiantly return to this venue

  • Great concert, not so great fan appreciation

by woodja on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

My daughter and her friend went to the concert. They waited 2 1/2 hours prior to the concert to get good spots. They loved the show and had a great time. After the concert, no one from bring me the horizon nor of mice and men came out and greeted the fans that sat out in below freezing temperatures to meet them. Just goes to show you that a little fame can go to your head. I think if the band members had just spent 5 minutes of their time, it would have increased their fan base.

  • Great show!!!

    by Mal0507 on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Bring Me The Horizon was amazing. Great band live. Bummed that Of Mice and Men didn't play much of their new album. Bummed that the line was too long and I missed half of Issues.

  • Of Mice & Men & Bring Me The Horizon were insane!!

What a great show! BMTH was great, the venue was beautiful, the only thing i would have changed would be that the doors open earlier. We didnt get in until the end of the first set and we were there almost 45 mins early, so we stood in line for over an hour and missed part of the show.

This was one of the best concerts I've been too! All of the bands were perfect!

  • Love all the bands!!

    by Tori95 on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

All the bands were amazing, I'm a new fan of Issues and letlive. They had an amazing performance. Of Mice & Men were memorable in their own way, they did amazing. And Bring Me The Horizon was my personal favorite, how he interacted with the crowd. Overall an amazing show that my sister's will never forget as their first concert. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Issues had a great opening. I was glad to see them. Let live's lead singer was crazy hanging off the side of a balcony while screaming. He also had a great inspirational speech. Of Mice And Men were probably my favorite. Overall they were the most fun. Bring Me the Horizon, the main event, Was also amazing the use of fog, confettie and steam jets was great. Also the holiday valentines day they took time to recognize cupples in the audience.

  • Bring Me the Horizon will blow you away!

Absolutely phenomenal performance by Bring Me the Horizon

  • AMAZING SHOW AND VENUE

by Anonymous on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Everything about this was perfect. Bring Me The Horizon put on an EPIC show. The venue where this was located was perfect too. Plenty of space for the huge amount of people that showed up to this sold out event. If I had to sum it all up in one word id definetly say breathtaking.

  • BMTH WAS AMAZING

by holthemindy on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely loved every minute of this concert. My favorite band is actually Of Mice and Men but every other band that played has simply amazing. I loved every minute of this concert and I really hope they come back. Bring Me the Horizon performed a simply FANTASTIC show and I think the entire concert was over the top awesome.

  • THe American Dream Tour was Crazy Awesome!!

    by MusicFr3ak on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

This show was amazing because you could really connect to the music if you like it and you could pretty much just go crazy with the music too. The bands were all amazing! You did have some problems with the baracades breaking and the guards moving it into you and stuff. But other than that the bands were amazing and the venue was awesome tooo. It was big and enough space for everyone to be in.

  • UNFUCKINGREAL

by Cubedude on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Unforgettable. OM&M and BMTH were absolutely phenomenal. The sound at uptown was perfect, there was a sense of community among the patrons, and Austin Carlile was 200% perfect. Best concert I've ever been to.

This show was absolutely crazy! Issues started the show off great followed by Letlive. who was absolutely insane, the frontman kept the crowd up off their feet and was eventually laying on the edge of the balcony on the side, they rocked. Then Of Mice & Men came on and everyone went crazy once again. I was a little disappointed that they didn't play Second and Sebring but I was happy with everything else. Finally Bring Me The Horizon came on and there was not one person in the building standing still. They rocked the show and sounded absolutely fantastic! I almost got frostbite from standing out in the cold all day in line for the show but I would definitely do it all again. It was an amazing show!

  • Truly was the "American Dream"!

    by Elliephants23 on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

The show was too perfect for words. Honestly, I cannot express to you how amazing BMTH, OM&M, Issues, and Let Live were. The stage presence, the music, the venue, and the crowd were amazing!

  • by MackenzieLyn on 2/17/14Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show--I was thoroughly entertained! So much energy the entire time. All four bands sounded great. I even got to talk to Jason from Letlive, he was a sweetheart. Overall I had a great time!!

  • They never disappoint

by Mcocoy on 2/9/14Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I endured pure hell to see BMTH, but it was completely worth it. They're simply amazing!
