British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

Awesome show!! All three bands were amazing! Glad I went!
Now that Bring Me the Horizon have switched to their new genre of music, there show was a huge let down. I should have known, but if you are looking for the same sound and feel as before you will be let down. I love this bands old work and now Oli can't even scream anymore. He attempted to on some of the old tracks they played and he flat skipped over them knowing he couldn't do it. Opening bands were garbage. Basically if you aren't a 15 year old fan girl, this band isn't for you. Lost a 5 year long fan. Warped tour 2010 was the most badass show I have ever seen. RIP BMTH
From what I heard of PVRIS they were good live and so was Issues but BMTH was out of this world. They are amazing live playing both old and newer songs. It's definitely a experience to be apart of. But at my venue (Aragon Ballroom) there were tons of people so get there super early to not be at the end of the line and watch out for people in the city asking for extra tickets they just turn around and try to sell them to other people at the concert.
Pvris was great as a headliner they really set the mood! Issues put up a great performance leading to the most unforgettable breathtaking band I've seen in a while. Everyone was so happy to be there and I will see them the next chance I get. Their music speaks to me on a level deeper than just words thank you for the amazing performance!
Bands were great. Bring Me The Horizon put on a great show visually and audibly!!
Best concert I've ever been to. I loved every second of it.
Bring Me The Horizon did an amazing job performing their new songs from their latest album and also played some older fan favorites. They engaged with the audience and good vibes were present throughout the whole show. All the band members of BMTH rocked the hell out of the stage, it was one of my favorite concerts I have ever been to, and I have been to very many. October 13th in Chicago was a night I will never forget! Bring Me The Horizon better not forget to come back to Chicago, they make the city feel alive!
This was an amazing show! There was great energy, the music was good and everyone had a good time!
Took my best friend for his birthday, we got to the barricade. Both of us had to hold onto it to stay there, someone kept trying to pull my long pony tail into the circle pit happening behind us. Other then the craziness for the crowd, this tour was amazing, and everyone should take the time to go see them. The security guards for the Aragon Ballroom were simply amazing, so helpful and gave us water. I got asked if I was okay a lot, just because it was crazy in there. Recommended for those who can handle crazy crowds, not for children or young teens.
Bring me the Horizon is amazing live and gives a great show. The crowd was fucking stoked and had a good vibe. Issues played a new song here in Chicago. Paris was amazing!
It was the shyte!! Sounded great and of course a lot of energy
BMTH was the most energetic, fun, exciting show Ive ever seen.I got to share it with my Teenager. The crowd rocked,Their lightshow blows everyone else out of the,,,but so does their music.Love these guys!
If you only see one show this year, it needs to be Bring Me the Horizon! They are soooo good live!. They didn't have a Michigan Date this tour, so I went to Chicago. I'm not the only one that went on a road trip to catch them live. I met (6) other people from Michigan (5) from Ohio, and (3) from Indy. We were like Dead Heads. This is my 3rd time seeing them. They get better with each tour. I wish I could catch another show of theirs this year. You get the feeling from them, that they really appreciate their fans. Not snobs, very down to earth. I hope they have a Summer US tour this year. The same setlist would work for me.
They've come so far as a band with their sound, and have only grown in showmanship. Easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Ever.
If I could rate this show ten stars, I would. First, the two opening acts, PVRIS and Issues were two great bands that I also enjoy. PVRIS kills it live every time, and Issues never fails to get a crowd going. Bring Me the Horizon. Let me tell you, this was their best live performance I've ever seen. They do so many effects, and they really know how to incorporate the crowd into their shows. If you haven't gone to see them, go see this tour.
I absolutely love these guys and not only their older music, but particularly this newest album!! So when I heard they were playing in October I forced myself not to miss out and it was truly awesome. Even though i missed the first two artists, I still would've paid the same price just for them! Their stage presence and music combined for the best concert experience i've attended. I can't wait till the next one!!
This show was the best I've been to in years! It was very interactive and felt personal. It was amazing and I loved every minute of it. I will never forget that concert!
The only reason I didn't give this event five stars is that the venue didn't fit the enormity of the bands. I have seen Bring Me the Horizon live before at a bigger venue. This is a band that commands a large space. The concert was sold out and the pit could not hold the volume of fans ready to mosh. EMS was very quick at retrieving injured fans. The setup and security was fabulous as always. PVRIS was incredible, delivering an ominous, tone-setting set. Gunn's vocals filled the entire hall. The band showed mastery of simultaneous use of instruments and effects. Great set.
These three bands made this night unforgettable and the venue was one of the best I've been to so far.
Such an amazing live show. Bring me the horizon puts on a great show. Highly recommend
