Over the course of crafting a 29-album catalog and architecting 40 Billboard #1 singles as a keyboardist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music. Label him jazz and he makes a funk record. Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection. And you'd be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for three consecutive months.
Culbertson burst onto the scene in 1994 with a chart-topping album that he recorded in his college apartment featuring keyboard-led contemporary jazz tracks. Flash forward to present day, Culbertson has been going back and listening more and more to music that inspired him as a young musician such as David Sanborn, The Brecker Bros, Chick Corea, Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny & others in the jazz fusion world.
Whether you're listening to music from "Day Trip" on record or live in concert, you're hearing an eclectic, entertaining and engaging set from an artist at the peak of his power.
It was my first time seeing him in concert and I was totally entertained. The crowd was energetic as well.
We had very good seats. I was very satisfied with them. We have always gotten a table but we had seats this time and they were very good. We still had a good clear view of the concert. We also chose seats for Boney James I hope they turn out the same.
Great Music,Beautiful Peoples and a Beautiful Night. We had a Great time. Great Atmosphere..This is Our Favorite Spot ❤️
This show was totally AWESOME!!!! Brian and Marcus was the DYNAMIC DUO!!! The atmosphere was AMAZING!!! It was definitely a night to remember!!! Best Wedding Anniversary Gift Ever!!!
I bought tickets on the assumption that Marcus Miller was coming with Brian. This was the first time seeing Brian and I was fully satisfied with his performance
There are no words to describe a Brian Culbertson concert. It’s something that you have to experience for yourself! It is non-stop showmanship from beginning to end! Every person in his band is excellent. My husband and I never a show within driving distance.
The Brian Culbertson show featuring Marcus Anderson was simply one of the best shows I have seen in awhile. I got confused and thought Marcus Miller would be with him, we love Marcus Miller. Marcus Anderson did not disappoint, but BRIAN, OMG, BRIAN!! I honestly think once a year is not enough. I am already planning for next year. Mablehouse is the PERFECT outdoor venue, I am looking foward to seeing my next show there. Wonderful experience!
The BOMB! Brian brings it every time! AND, we don't care what he plays, we love it all! BUT, Patches Stewart needs a bit of color on stage! Let's get him a red jacket!
Brian Culbertson's entire show was a masterpiece! From the opening act, with Marcus Anderson to the final minute of the closing song, everything was wonderful!! This is my first concert with this phenomenal artist and it certainly won't be the last!! Brian has a keen ability to use his God given talents and abilities to entertain and create magic!! The venue is a great place also!! Just was very pleased with my "Grown folk"night of soulful jazz!! I'll be back!!
Brian Culbertson is one of the most, if not THE most energetic, crowd-pleasing artists to ever take the stage! I love him and his band. They NEVER disappoint!!!
Brian and his band came out and never let up! A show stopping performance that is hard to describe. O yes you will be grateful and satisfied by attending his show. We have seen him at least 6 times .
I have seen Brian Culbertson many times over the years. He was absolutely spectacular as was Marcus Anderson. Culbertson played nonstop with energy and the highlight was playing the keyboard backwards. Amazing!
Place very clean ! The staff were smiling and helpful Bathroom were also clean . Just wish this jazz music would come to Roswell.
Brian and Marcus bring it every time and Patches and the rest of the band are par excellence!! Thanks for another great show!!!
Marcus Anderson and Brian Culbertson were amazing. Every member of the band they brought also did phenomenal jobs. I only knock off one star for the venue. The staff could have been better prepared. There was a tent for entry in the vip section, we waited with a big group with the police and even they weren’t sure when staff was coming. Eventually they just let people go through because they’d waited so long. The restrooms were also terrible. They were dirty with tissue everywhere, they smelled terrible and there was heavy cobwebs and dust everywhere.
This is one of the Best group performances I have ever seen live!
With all that is going on in this world it was nice to go to this concert and just have a good time. We were able to escape all the discouraging news broadcast and the financial worries that life brings and have a good time
Ms. Jasmine Ghent opened and through down! At one point it seemed like the Jasmine Ghent show. She really put in work! It made me wonder if he was going to battle? No problem Brian Culbertson came out and as well as Ms. Ghent performed, she did not compare. She will be there in a few for sure but, Mr. Culbertson is already in a stratosphere of his own. He and his band turned it the heck out. At 67 years old I didn't know that I still had it in me but, I was dancing in the ailse! What a great show!
I’LL RATE A 10 IF I COULD. ALL THE PERFORMERS WERE. EXCELLENT… ALL I CAN SAY EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!!!!
This was a fantastic show!! It was my first time seeing Jazmin Ghent, Jonathan Butler and Brian Culbertson in concert and it was totally worth it. Brian Culbertson is a true entrainer my husband told me he will definitely see him again in concert and so do I.
