    Worth the drive

by Phoenix83 on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

When the dates were announced for the concert, my friend and I jumped on the tickets for a San Antonio showing. Sucks that less than a month before the concert they announced a show in Houston. So we drove to San Antonio and went to the outdoor venue (Sunken Gardens) which felt very personal. We arrived as Sick Puppies took the stage and they had the crowd amped. Then Breaking Benjamin hit the stage and gave a performance that left us in awe. First song came from Dear Agony but they also covered tracks from We Are Not Alone & Phobia. They threw in Polyamorous from Saturate so that was an added bonus for long time fans.

    Amazing hard rocking event

by MrTravis on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

Breaking Benjamin was great! Not only them, but the other bands that were touring with them were good too! Only thing is that I wish Breaking Benjamin performed more songs because they were only onstage for an hour.

BB Concert better than I ever expected

by 2RedWingsofFury on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

I was pleasantly surprised by this concert. It was all well organized and they had some very good bands. The merchandise stand was right in the door so i could get stuff right off the bat, and the drinks were accessable. The only issue i found was that the will call booth was not very well marked. Also i liked that they let the pit get rowdy, but not too out of hand. I did also have an issue finding the lead singer of rev theory to sign the album i purchased afterward. I was not too happy with that. However it was overall the best concert I've been to so far.

    Rowdy!!

by Deuceizzle23 on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

The concert was stupid sick for the simple fact that it was Breaking Benjamin... Only thing i didnt like is it was short... Would have liked to have heard a few more non main stream songs and a longer show but the energy from the band and the crowd was stupid sick and overall really really enjoyed the concert.

    Loved BB and Adelitas Way!!!!

by kebob on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

Adelitas way was the suprise of the night for me. They were simply amazing. Totally didnt expect them to be so good. Rev theory and Sick puupies were good fillers in the midddle, and then Breaking Benjamin stole the whole show! Burnley was fantastic! Epic performance by them, adelitas way is an up and comer. I would certainly see them again.

    Breaking Benjamin is back!

by JoeSway on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

I have seen Breaking Benjamin 8 times over the last 5 years...ridiculous, I know. With their new album, Dear Agony, being released earlier this year, it was inevitable a tour was sure to follow. While Adelitas Way and Rev Theory are nothing special to write about, openers Sick Puppies are easily one of the most energetic bands I've seen in a long time, and a great band with personality and some great tunes to back it up. Breaking Benjamin only played an hour, but in that hour managed to span their entire catalog, including rarities, and even managed to throw in a cover song, which was amazing, but I won't spoil it for you! Bottom line: If you're a fan of the band, go check them out...the band seems to have brought their A-game this time around, and knows how to put on a good show.

The concert was amazing! Adelita's Way was the best way to start the show and ended with a mind blowing performance from Breaking Benjamin. I couldn't think of any other way I would have liked that show to be! It ROCKED!!

Adelitas Way and BREAKING BENJAMIN :) :)

by KF1154 on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

The show started with Adelitas Way and they were amazing. They really got the crowd going and made everyone get that much more pumped up for the night. They were really trying to involve the crowd, which is really fun. They were great! Rev Theory was not as good as I was hoping they would be. They were talkative with the crowd, but not near as much as Adelitas Way. Over all, they disappointed me. Sick Puppies came on after that and I had previously only heard one song from them and like it, but their other stuff was not too impressive. The guy was very appreciative of the fans and talked to the crowd alot but didn't really involve the crowd in anything. They were disappointing too. BREAKING BENJAMIN finished the night with an hour long performance. I loved every minute of it. They all made sure to move around the stage and make each section feel like they were being sung to specifically. They showed appreciation to the crowd and had them sing along. They played their 10 year old songs all the way to their brand new cd, it was awesome!!!!

One of the best "Live" bands I have ever heard

    by Anonymous on 10/4/09Bakersfield

I saw these gentlemen open for Three Days Grace a few years back, and only being newly introduced to them, I was amazed when they played. They were actually better then the headliner and I have been trying to see them again in concert ever since. If you get the chance, go see them.
