    Twisted Christmas

by ZDJ1 on 12/12/09The Midland by AMC - Kansas City

Well, what can I say? It was a crazy good time. I managed to get into the front row, in the center, so I could see absolutely everything. Adelita's Way played a really solid set, with a lot of energy. Then the Sick Puppies came on and rocked like nothing else. It sounded way better than it does on their cd''s, which is really saying a lot. But perhaps the best part of the show was Papa Roach. Those guys came out and put on a performance filled wirth every ounce of energy they had. Jacoby was at the top of his game and it really showed. Breaking Benjamin played really well, but Ben was feeling a little under the weather. It was still a great performance but Papa Roach was difficult to top.

    Twisted X-Mas '09

by Bozak on 12/12/09The Midland by AMC - Kansas City

I would have hated to follow Papa Roach! Between Sick Puppies and Papa Roach - they absolutly stole the show away from Breaking Benjamin! Breaking Benjamin's front man says he was a little under the weather, and you could tell because of how lousy his voice was and the long breaks between songs! No excusees!! If you can not give 100% to a SOLD OUT show, then it best to just not waste our time!! Papa Roach came out at 100 MPH and never let up until they walked off stage!! They KILLED IT! Fanominal!! Sick Puppies worked the crowd well, and came out to meet the fans after the show!! Great bunch of guys(and gal) from Down Under!! Very talented!!

I was a bit disappointed with this concert. There was a snow storm, so lots of people were late and completly missed the first band (who only played for half an hour). Rev Theory was by far the best band that night. Sick Puppies did a good job, but only played 5 or 6 songs. And Breaking Benjamin wasn't as impressive as I thought they would be. The crowd didn't really get into the songs until maybe the last two.

Outside of the fact that they didn't cancel due to a MASSIVE snow storm that placed thousands of people in harms way... I'd say the show was pretty awesome. BB really knows how to put on a show. I liked the stage design better than their last tour. I'm pretty biased considering they don't have a song I don't like, but I thought there was a good variety of stuff off the new album, older stuff, and even one AMAZING cover.

    Great Show

by bconrad56 on 12/10/09Val Air Ballroom - West Des Moines

Breaking Benjamin puts on one of the best live shows that I have been to. The Sick Puppies were an awesome compliment to their skills. I drove through blizzard conditions to see these guys and they made it worth my money and time for sure! Highly recommended to any fan of Breaking Benjamin to see them live!!!!!

    Evil Snow

by Zahhy on 12/9/09Val Air Ballroom - West Des Moines

I am able to give BB such a high star rating due to their previous performances that I've seen. However, I was unable due to the massive snow storm to travel 200+ miles to get to the venue. Sadly I regret not seeing my favorite band, but there was no way I could get out of town, let alone to Des Moines. Hope it was good, yet I advise others in the future that they are a great band, and even better in concert, so the money isn't a waste!

    Breadking Benjamin Rocks!

by zaph on 12/3/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

The sunken gardens were awesome. It is right next to the Japanese Gardens in San Antonio. Very cool setting for a concert. There was a lot of open space near the band and plenty of seats in the stands. All the bands were good but BB was really amazing. Worth every penny and we drove 5 hours to get there.

    Worth the drive

by Phoenix83 on 11/30/09Sunken Gardens - San Antonio

When the dates were announced for the concert, my friend and I jumped on the tickets for a San Antonio showing. Sucks that less than a month before the concert they announced a show in Houston. So we drove to San Antonio and went to the outdoor venue (Sunken Gardens) which felt very personal. We arrived as Sick Puppies took the stage and they had the crowd amped. Then Breaking Benjamin hit the stage and gave a performance that left us in awe. First song came from Dear Agony but they also covered tracks from We Are Not Alone & Phobia. They threw in Polyamorous from Saturate so that was an added bonus for long time fans.
