BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The youngest of six children, Brandon Flowers was born in Henderson, NV in 1981. After moving to Las Vegas he answered an ad posted by guitarist Dave Keuning in 2001, and they formed The Killers soon after. The group's 2004 debut Hot Fuss spawned a string of massive hits including “All These Things That I’ve Done”, “Smile Like You Mean It”, and “Mr. Brightside”, and was eventually named one of the "100 Greatest Debut Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. International success and critical acclaim followed the band in the ensuing decade with hit albums like Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008). Flowers made his solo debut in 2010 with the album Flamingo, which premiered at no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart behind the success of powerhouse single “Crossfire”. Flamingo proved that Flowers had more than enough material to spread between projects, especially when The Killers returned in 2012 with the hit album Battle Born. His sophomore solo effort The Desired Effect arrived in 2015, once again reaching the top spot in the UK. Brandon Flowers’ live shows continue to reach new heights of sophistication and sheen, even as he maintains an intimate connection with his fans thanks to his passionate and powerful songs.

I loved every minute of this concert. Brandon Flowers was smiling the entire time which really made the show. I love the Killers and was surprised at how many of the bands songs he played.
He was amazing live! He played his newer album, older songs and even a Killers song or two. Great energy and his voice sounded awesome. Can't wait til he comes back to town so I can see him again!
Brandon sounded crisp throughout. Wish he would have done hard enough. Would have been cool if he did welcome to fabulous Las Vegas but substituted philly instead.
I went to the show with my daughter and was blown away. We have both been Killers fans from their first CD and have been to many of their shows but this was the first time we saw Brandon by himself. The show was better than our expectations and we were blown away. The venue was smaller than an arena and more intimate. Brandon's voice was amazing and clear and he did not miss a beat. We only wish he could have sang for hours! The band was amazing. He and the Killers will always be our favorite band!!!!!
No one compares to Brandon Flowers when it comes to both entertainment AND technical performance. The Electric Factory venue adds to the show as it is such a great environment to see the performer from every angle and from the upper balconies. BF is playing in Boston this week as well and if it weren't for other obligations, we would have, without question, drove to Boston (5 hrs) to see another performance of the Desired Effect tour. ....... and remembrr "tell your friends"
Brandon Flowers might be the best live performer since Iggy Pop, minus the drugs. Brandon's voice is always flawless and his jumping acrobatics always gets the audience involved.
I surprised my fiancé with tickets at a small venue to see Brandon Flowers. Totally reasonable price for an amazing show. This man is a true artist, has amazing stage presence, and sounds better live than on his albums. He played our small venue as hard and awesome as when we saw him with The Killers as the closer at Firefly (90k in the crowd). If he is near you, go see him. Absolutely 100% worth it.

The venue was the best I've been to in a while. It allowed us to get close to the stage and it was big and clean. Also very well air conditioned which was great since it was a hot summer night. The lighting for the show and the sound was also really good.
Brandon sounds incredible live and you can tell he's having a blast on stage. Sings killers songs in addition to his solo stuff

I have been obsessed with Brandon Flowers from the time Hot Fuss was released and have seen the Killers perform many times live, but his solo tour was even better than I thought it would be.
i love the killers so i knew i was gonna love his show. loved it! would def. go again!
I've been to a few great shows but this one ranks near the top. First, I'm a huge Fran Healy fan, so I really loved the opening set he performed. He mixed in a couple of classic Travis songs along with many from his new solo album. He also turned out to be a pleasant contrast to what was yet to come. Fran also made a point to hang out after the show and meet and greet with fans. I got to have a brief conversation with him and even had him singing part of the chorus to the Elvis Costello song Allison while he signed his album cover for my niece by the same name. He also spoke to me about how Brandon and The Killers saw he and Travis open for Oasis during their tour together prior to the official forming of The Killers. He's a real, genuine artist that you can really admire. Brandon Flowers came on and blew off the roof. If I had one issue with anything it was that the venue was maybe just too small for his performance. Brandon came out there with a huge presence that I never expected having only seen him previously on album photos. He came out and put on a dramatic and aggressive performance that emphasized and accentuated the great music from his newly released solo album Flamingo. At times he beat his chest with the song and got up on the set playing to the crowd. He performed I believe all but one of the songs from Flamingo plus a couple classic Killer hits including Mr. Brightside and also a cover of the Kim Carnes classic Bette Davis Eyes! It was an exhilarating show that everyone who can should attend. He's definitely taken note from another outstanding live act and group he's been known to admire, Oasis. I will see Brandon Flowers anytime I have the opportunity and would even consider making a special trip to Las Vegas to see a home performance which I think may be the only time I would see a better one than I saw here.
Fantastic show, he is such a talent. Not the best venue but still a great show. Made me lonesome for The Killers. Saw them 3 times in 09 and definitely need a fix soon. Hopefully in Las Vegas again.
