BRANDON FLOWERS IN CONCERT:

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The youngest of six children, Brandon Flowers was born in Henderson, NV in 1981. After moving to Las Vegas he answered an ad posted by guitarist Dave Keuning in 2001, and they formed The Killers soon after. The group's 2004 debut Hot Fuss spawned a string of massive hits including “All These Things That I’ve Done”, “Smile Like You Mean It”, and “Mr. Brightside”, and was eventually named one of the "100 Greatest Debut Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. International success and critical acclaim followed the band in the ensuing decade with hit albums like Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008). Flowers made his solo debut in 2010 with the album Flamingo, which premiered at no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart behind the success of powerhouse single “Crossfire”. Flamingo proved that Flowers had more than enough material to spread between projects, especially when The Killers returned in 2012 with the hit album Battle Born. His sophomore solo effort The Desired Effect arrived in 2015, once again reaching the top spot in the UK. Brandon Flowers’ live shows continue to reach new heights of sophistication and sheen, even as he maintains an intimate connection with his fans thanks to his passionate and powerful songs.

So he started off slow but then kicked up a notch. I think he performed most, if not all of his own songs. He also covered Bette Davis eyes. He was great and sounded wonderful. He is so damn sexy!
Feel good show. Friendly crowd. Lots of weed. And love. Mostly weed. The venue is the best.
Brandon Flowers is one of the most humblest, nicest, and most attractive person I have ever seen perform!! He loves his fans and is very humble of how famous he is. I liked how he smiles a lot when he performs and gets driven by the crowd. He also has some pretty awesome dance moves up his sleeve lol. My favorite is the one he does in the "Only The Young" video, and he actually does it when he performs that song on stage.
Everything about this show was amazing. First, Fran Healy, who opened for Brandon, provided an excellent complement to Brandon's style. He was also very funny. Then came the main act. Brandon was in top form with every song. The audience was really getting into it, which made him seem like he was having that much more fun. What a great night!
Many high points: 1. Visa signature offered us VIP entrance + 2 drinks! Thank-you Visa Signature! 2. Location is fantastic: Fox Theater Oakland is an awesome venue 3. Brandon Flowers' voice is amazing, the energy was there and he's so darn cute even from 100 ft away...

Acoustics at the Fox Theater were bad, very hard to hear lyrics. Brandon only performed two songs from his Killers albums. The whole set was only 1 hour long. It felt a bit amateurish. Definitely, the worst out of 3 shows I have seen Killers in.
Overall I thought the show was very good. Brandon sounded amazing, he is NOT one of these singers that sound good on record and terrible live. Only thing that kept this from 5-stars was I thought he played more of his up-tempo stuff from the album at the beginning and then slower stuff as the show went on. A mix of tempos across the whole show would have been better. That said, finishing with Mr. Brightside was a great touch and a real treat for the hardcore Killers fans.

I have been waiting to see Mr. Flowers perform since five years ago and all I can say is that the wait was worth it. He was an amazing performer and his vocals were incredible. I enjoyed his whole performance and his new band did not disappoint. However, I was disappointed in the organization of the theater and the staff since the section, row, and seat numbers printed on my tickets were irrelevant. It was very disorganized and there was lack of security.
A brilliant show; Flowers was in peak voice, and his band was really tight. Only flaws were a couple of times the backup singers were off-key, but that was minor compared to the rest of the show.
Brandon Flowers is an amazing artist... The Killers are amazing ..but his SOLO work Has been by far one of the best solo shows I've seen in a while! Great energy and selection of songs!
Seeing Brandon Flowers in such an intimate setting was worth it... I've never seen The Killers, but I can only imagine the behemoth of venues that they play in. But here at the Fox Theatre, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. As for Brandon himself, he looked and sounded great. The band looked and sounded great. There really isn't anything I can say that is negative. It was one of the best shows I've seen in quite some time. Fran Healy was amazing as well. Just him and his guitar, and the whole crowd was really into it...
Brandon put on fantastic show. Only one complaint: NO general admission when it is a theater with seats! Hard to find an empty seat!!!!! I would gladly have paid more to have an assigned seat! I recommend his show, not the theater if no assigned seat.
Brandon Flowers put his whole heart into the evening's performance. The sound was full and awe inspiring. I would recommend this to anyone that loves to see the big performers bring it back to the small performance home welcoming feel.
This guy can sing for sure!!! Other than being extremely hot he is extremely talented and definitely puts a good show ;)<3
The show being Brandon Flowers first one of his tour. It was a little bit rocky, I felt the vibe you usually get at a show from the artist but i knew their was more in there. I recommended it to anybody who is a fan of his and I know now it is going to get a lot better.
Brandon Flowers sounded awesome and was a lot of fun to watch. Great venue. Excellent concert.
The fox theater was the perfect venue for these two amazing artists! The sound, lighting set the mood for there songs. Not to big, but not too small either, perfect intimate setting with om prices on the alki;) Fran was hillarious talking to the crowd with little funny intro stories about the song he was preforming. I loved how he said it was "single mens night" since both were lead singers of other bands( his band is travis). Brandon was full of energy, sounded exactly like his cd. Can't wait to see these guys again whether it be solo or with there bands!!! :)
hand down the best show I've been to and I can't wait to go to another one :)
