BRANDON FLOWERS IN CONCERT:
Whether he's fronting The Killers or getting fans dancing with his synthpop-heavy solo work, Brandon Flowers is a consummate showman renowned for his powerful voice and flawless performances. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The youngest of six children, Brandon Flowers was born in Henderson, NV in 1981. After moving to Las Vegas he answered an ad posted by guitarist Dave Keuning in 2001, and they formed The Killers soon after. The group's 2004 debut Hot Fuss spawned a string of massive hits including “All These Things That I’ve Done”, “Smile Like You Mean It”, and “Mr. Brightside”, and was eventually named one of the "100 Greatest Debut Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. International success and critical acclaim followed the band in the ensuing decade with hit albums like Sam’s Town (2006) and Day & Age (2008). Flowers made his solo debut in 2010 with the album Flamingo, which premiered at no. 1 on the UK Albums Chart behind the success of powerhouse single “Crossfire”. Flamingo proved that Flowers had more than enough material to spread between projects, especially when The Killers returned in 2012 with the hit album Battle Born. His sophomore solo effort The Desired Effect arrived in 2015, once again reaching the top spot in the UK. Brandon Flowers’ live shows continue to reach new heights of sophistication and sheen, even as he maintains an intimate connection with his fans thanks to his passionate and powerful songs.

It was amazing amazing amazing. Not extremely crowded, and the crowd was calm enough to where you could be comfortable and not hitting you in the face. I could see it all and have a phenomenal time. Fran Healy was also excellent! Love him. Brandon Flowers was so great as usual. Another plus, him and his band came out about an hour afterwards and those who stayed got a chance for pictures and autographs. :D
The opening act was great (Fran Healy), and Brandon's show was amazing. He played singles from the album as well as some classic covers and Killer's tunes. He addressed the crowd and made you a part of his world. After the show he was gracious enough to sign autographs and pose for pictures. How can you forget his smile and nervous laugh!!! The only downside was it being an all ages show... The people who were of age in the bar were let into the concert venue before those who waited in line in the rain. Seriously that's not right! At least let everyone in at the same time!!!
His opening act Fran Healy of Travis was fantastic and quite funny and then Brandon comes on stage and always puts on an amazing show!!

I saw Brandon Flowers back in August and I must say that he just gets better and better. This show was amazing and it really makes me miss The Killers because it had the same feel and vibe. He is an awesome performer. I love him more than ever!!!
Brandon Flowers has the voice of an angel and he can give a great performance anywhere! I'm rating this amazing only for Brandon and his band...the Showbox SODO is NOT the greatest venue for a performer of this caliber, but I would see him anywhere!
Starting slow and then exploding into Crossfire almost lifting us off our feet in the Showbox Sodo! Jilted Lovers, Amazing Las Vegas, Only the Young--It was a tour de force. Brandon Flowers IS The Killers, lets face it!!
Brandon Flowers is amazing live. He doesn't just sing, he performs. He engages the audience and his material is great. The Showbox concert would have been perfect if it had just lasted a little longer. The entire set, including encore lasted exactly one hour. I was home by 10:30...that's early, even for a Sunday show.
The concert was very enjoyable. Aside from some obvious sound problems on the venue's end with the first few songs, the group sounded great. Since we were in Pacific NW, I was a little disappointed that we didn't get a surprise guest appearance from Jenny Lewis, but the backup singers on tour sounded good too.
Brandon Flowers put on a fantastic concert, but the sound production at Showbox SoDo was terrible! Some instruments were drastically louder than others and there was an ongoing feedback problem. I would see Brandon (and Fran Healy for that matter) again without a doubt, but I don't plan on going to another concert at Showbox Sodo
Brandon is very talented and we enjoyed the show. He is very passionate in his writing and clearly has a message he wants to share. In my opinion, he is much better as the front man for the Killers. The band together has mojo that he cannot replicate on his own. Not sure what is driving the solo journey, but I am hopeful that he reconnects with the band. They make amazing music.
One of few artist who sounds the same live and on a recording. Solo or with the Killers he is a great performer!!
I had the greatest time. I am used to more upbeat concerts, like The Killers for example. But Brandon Flowers was nothing but unforgettable. The venue was more personal than anything. Brandon voice was as usual beautiful. It was just an all around amazing show. More than meet expectations. I love him before and now I love him even more.
I was one of the lucky ones to be in the front row I had to get there 4 hours early but it was more than worth the wait. the place was elegant and I felt it fitted like a glove with the album. I hope to see you soon and I hope I get to see you perform with the rest of The Killers.
Amazing show! Been to many Killers shows in the past and was pleasantly surprised with just Brandon.
Brandon Flowers performance was amazing! I've seen him 2 other times when he sang in The Killers and he has an unforgettable talent that I keep coming back for. His lyrics are powerful and unique and the tunes are catchy to dance to. I love Brandon and will see him every time he performs. My friend and I drove all the way to Vegas from NorCal just to see him rock it! :-D
This was my 2nd time seeing him solo and my 3rd time including when I saw the killers. He was great as usual!
the fox theatre is a gorgeous venue, fit for the gorgeous song stylings of the precious Brandon Flowers. he puts on an amazing show, includes a few surprises and is the consummate host for a energetic evening. LOVED IT. Cheers Ticketmater
This is really a Brandon Flowers show and he played only a couple of The Killers songs. Some of his solo stuff sounded good, but I was hoping to hear more Killers songs.
Kick Ass! Brandon is just as fantastic solo as with the Killers.
