About

Forming in 2000 on Long Island, New York, Brand New is an alternative-punk band consisting of Jesse Lacey on vocals and guitars, Vincent Accardi on guitars and vocals, Garrett Tierney on bass, and Brian Lane on drums. They signed to Triple Crown Records and released their debut album Your Favorite Weapon in 2001, full of emotional angst and ex-girlfriend tales, before touring with the emo Dashboard Confessional, post-hardcore acts Finch and Glassjaw, alt-rock Midtown, and pop-punk bands New Found Glory and Taking Back Sunday. Their sophomore album Deja Entendu came out in 2003, featuring the singles “The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows” and “Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades”, and a matured sound that became a certified gold album in the US. Derrick Sherman joined the band on guitars and keys in 2005, and the band signed with Interscope Records to release their third album The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me in 2006. Its hit Jesus became their highest charting single in the United States. In 2009, they put out their fourth album Daisy, their most successful effort to date, reaching number six on the Billboard 200. They are currently working on their fifth studio album, and will play concerts in December 2013 on the east and west coasts where they will perform two albums in their entirety for ticket holders each night.

Perfect Venue for a GREAT BAND!

by GeronimoMichael on 11/8/16Concrete Street Amphitheater - Corpus Christi

The venue was great, My wife and I had never been here before and we were very impressed. Brand New played the entire Devil and God raging inside me album along with a few of their better known songs and Mixtape! Food was close to the venue, and it did not take long to access drinks or restrooms.

by Justinmcr on 11/7/16The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This band is like no other. They are amazing live. I've seen plenty of brands play live , these guys are the best. Musical they are so talented. Brand New plays and produces music their own way. You will be hard pressed to find another band out there like them.

    Great show!

by FightMeOff on 11/6/16El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso

Brand New played a bunch of songs from three albums and then played the Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me in its entirety. Can't as for more than that.

by EliAnnLee on 11/6/16Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

Modern Baseball were amazing but wished they had played more songs...we went for Front Bottoms who were SO good!! Loved singing all the favorites! Great trio of bands, fun venue, highly recommend!

The sing-alongs, the raw emotion - jesus christ, that's a pretty show. The kind you'd watch with someone you could save. If they don't put these guys away, well it'll be a miracle. Seriously though, one of the best Brand New shows I've ever been to. It felt like a goodbye - I'm sure there will be one more album but they're making it evident that their time as Brand New is coming to an end. Again. Yeah. But for real, it was fantastic. I highly recommend seeing them before it's too late.

    Pretty crazy

by canadiansoftball on 11/3/16Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

This was my first concert ever and it was just crazy. I loved everyone's energy. Even the rowdy ones'. Every band played amazingly. Brand New did go a bit overboard though.

    Lmao it was lit y'all

by fatbabylegs95 on 11/3/16Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

Honestly... the best show maybe ever. Modern Baseball? Lit. The Front Bottoms? Lit. Brand New? So lit fam. I would have laid down a hundo for tickets if I had to. The crowd was vibin, I was vibin, and I had my first ever concert beer during Brand New's set. Saw them on tour with Modest Mouse this summer and it was nothing compared to this show. Simply put, Brand New rocks!

    Amazing

by Morgannnnnnn on 11/1/16Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Honestly one of the best shows i've ever been to. Full of life, even without being in the pit. Not to mention an UNREAL lineup. 3 of some of the best bands to exist right now.

    Great time

by yayaMary on 10/23/16Cross Insurance Arena (Formerly Cumberland County Civic Center) - Portland

Brand New does not disappoint, ever. My fourth time seeing them and I would absolutely go again. They have an incredible presence, always a great and varied setlist, and know how to engage the crowd start to finish. With some bands, you can't tell the difference between a live set and the album recordings. This is not that case with Brand New. Always fresh and lively despite the age of some of the music they played. Never sounds like the same old stuff.

Myself and 4 of my roommates flew all the way from Florida to see these bands. THIS WAS AN AMAZING SHOW. If I could watch all 3 perform again, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you Modern Baseball, The Front Bottoms AND Brand New for such an outstanding concert. You guys killed it!!!!!!

    Brand New was amazing!

by MaineSteph on 10/18/16Cross Insurance Arena (Formerly Cumberland County Civic Center) - Portland

Brand New was amazing live! Our seats were ok, but there was no indication when I bought my tickets that "general admission floor" seats did not include access to the floor space in front of the stage. Whether the bracelet you had to have was a special purchase or the floor access was 21+ only, I don't know but it was very disappointing. Also Modern Baseball did not play before Brand New.

Brand new was amazing! They played the devil and god in its entirety along with favorites from deja. The front bottoms opened for them and they were perfect per usual.
