Like watching an unprepared bully

He began by commenting on the stage, making fun of the people who set up the event, the security guards, and immediately criticizing and rudely mocking the audience. His first question to everyone was "what are you?" which apparently meant, "what is your race". I guess he thought that because he was going to keep referring to himself as a "big Jew" that it was somehow acceptable. His attitude towards women was not funny, but rather sad as he kept mentioning his divorce, and instead of coming off with a humorous spin, he came across as bitter and hateful towards women, narrowing them all down into a category of one body part. Very quickly into the show everyone seemed to feel uncomfortable as if we were watching a bully pick on the other kids. No one wanted to draw attention to themselves because if you stood up he'd ask for a spotlight to be put on you and he'd immediately go at that person. I saw several people get up and leave, and I wanted to do so myself. I am not a person who is easily offended and I loved Daniel Tosh when I went to see him. There is "funny offensive" and there is "bitter old man who is angry about his divorce and the way his life turned out". It was uncomfortable, obnoxious, and above all NOT funny.
