the show was long, but definitely worth every second of it in my opinion.

About
Boys Like Girls are a pop-rock band that formed in 2005. The quartet skyrocketed up the charts with anthemic singles like “The Great Escape” and “Love Drunk,” with the latter’s accompanying music video featuring High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale. Their two breakthrough singles were followed by a sweeping emo-tinged ballad featuring Taylor Swift, “Two Is Better Than One,” which helped the band’s second album (2009’s Love Drunk) land in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. In 2012, the band’s frontman Martin Johnson began writing/producing music for everyone from blink-182 to Avril Lavigne, leading to Boys Like Girls going on hiatus (reforming sporadically to tour between 2016 and 2020). In May 2023, the band released “Blood and Sugar,” the first single from their upcoming fourth album and their first new song in over a decade.

C-R-A-Z-Z-Y
by Mallfairy09 on 12/13/09House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5Crazzy. So Hey Monday was cool, Cassidy can sing really awesome live. Then KE$HA surprisingly kicked up a knotch with tons of sparkles and some weird dance moves and her awesome song Dinosaur, lol. The Ting Tings cancelled here which really sucked. Oh, then Cobra Starship came out and they really know how to have a good time ;) Gabe told us about when he ran 4 class president, HALARIOUS (I kno I spelled it wrong). And you better get ready for his dance moves, extreme shimmying to like weird booty shaking and throwing the mic. Also before you go to the concert, you guys need to learn their sign. It is index and middle fingers bent over then set on the left palm high in the air. That is essential. Lastly, Boys Like Girls were very cool. The lead singer is a tad mean but he's really got that bad boy act going for him ;) He brought up some random girl with a camera onstage hugged her for like 2 minutes then took out her camera and took a pic of them like friends. Me so jealous. They throw some one-sipped water bottles at everyone so you may get wet. Basically, IT WAS AWESOME. Make sure towards the end if you want a T-Shirt to get it b4 the last song. It is hell afterwards if you don't. Each set up for a new artist takes like 20 min so go to the bathroom then. Hope this really long review helps :))
What a great show!!
by RodeoGrl814 on 12/13/09House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5I have to start out by saying that my favorite band, and the main band I was excited to see was Hey Monday. I love them!! But I was really impressed by everyone else as well. Hey Monday was great, fun, energetic and Cassidy really sings her heart out, even with a hurt ankle :( Ke$ha was very fun!!!! I only knew the one song of hers "TikTok" but I don't think I was the only one. At first my friends and I watched the 2 men from her band set up the stage I wasn't sure if I was liking the strange glitter art but once Ke$ha came out it was very cool. I was worried because not many people knew any of her songs but I think she was expecting that so she performed some very funny songs like "pArty at a rich kids house" and "Dinosaur". When she was finished the glitter was amazing and everyone got a kick outbid the jewelry Snd what looked to be condoms she tossed to the crowd. Over all I really enjoyed her act and would so go buy her cd bow and see her again. This was also my first cobra show, and I hope to see more! They really made everyone in the crowd feel like they were personal friends of the band or something. Such fun people! Again lots of energy, a great playlist and pretty funny stories. Boys like girls came out and they were also very very good. I was a bit annoyed by the fact they didn't have much of a playlist, they were just kinda wingging it but once they got going it was much better! Very cute guys, they sang a frat playlist of dongs they everyone in the crowd seemed to know by heart! The Ting Tings were ill but the show was still lots of fun!!! I had a great time and I am do thankful the bands played to well for us :)

Show was Amazing!
by zag66 on 12/13/09House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5Show started on time, all bands played the favorites and even though the show was sold out House of Blues didn't feel packed and you could walk through the entire event.

by Anonymous on 12/13/09House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5Boys Like Girls really sucked! Cobra Starship was amazing. Was Kesha drunk or just pretending?

by MK84 on 12/2/09Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 5 out of 5Boys Like Girls put on an unforgettable show. After a long energetic set they came back on for an encore, inviting all the fans that could fit onstage with them. A must see show.

Absolutely amazing!!!! All the bands were great, I went home and downloaded songs from all of them! All of the bands were really funny too. I didn't like how many parents were there, not to see the show, but to watch their children, because they took up space. I think there should be an older age limit at these events.

I spent $400 on VIP tickets and we got rushed through the meeting--could not get anything signed by the band members and barely had a chance to alk to them or get a picture.
Better than I remember
by gingersnap17 on 12/1/09Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 4 out of 5The music was fantastic, but why were there no seats? I hated standing the entire time with people bumping into me. And the body surfing was lame with no one catching people. What's with that?

by Cbrun6 on 11/30/09Nokia Theatre Times Square - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5I absolutely loved every single performer at this concert!! Especially Cobra Starship and Boys Like Girls! the only complaint was that there was not good organization when it came to the early entrance passes and the crowd on the floor did get a little crazy with all the little teenie boppers coming to see BLG but whatever.=] AMAZING!!!!

THIS CONCERT WAS AMAZING!
by Ash0Loves0Cobra0Starship on 11/30/09Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 5 out of 5The concert opened with Gregory James, a local guy and he was amazing. The next band, led by an amazing voice was good aswell. Unfortunately i did not catch their name. Rocket to the Moon were great performers aswell. The Maine, oone of my favorite bands was the fourth to perform. They sound better live! This was my second time seeing them, and the deffinitely impressed. Cobra Starship was next. Cobra Starship is one of my three most favorite bands. They were so good live, and their lead singer, Gabe was so good live. What can I say, Boys Like Girls were amazing. When Martin dove into the crowd, everyone went wild. He was great live and he wa sreally up close and personal with the fans. It was a great concert.
