As always the Holiday Pops concert was wonderful. It is so much easier to see it in Manchester and Keith is always there. Highly recommend it.

Same format as past years with a few different songs. Still a great concert, great music, great choir and family fun sing along. Wish they had the program in electronic format.

As always, Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops do not disappoint! Splendid variety of old, new, and classic Pops. Fantastic voices from the Metropolitan Chorale. And, of course, jolly old St. Nick! Wouldn't miss it!

Perfect mix of classical Christmas and spiritual music and just plain fun. Duane Moody was incredible, as was the whole Chorale. The sing-a-long made you feel a part of the show. Can't wait to go again next year!

  • Really something special

    by heidi52 on 12/15/15Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the fresh arrangements, the choir, the guest conductor, the musical selections and Duane Moody. The recitation of The Night Before Christmas was fun. I also thought the readings from the story of Jesus' birth woven with orchestra and choir was really moving.

Enjoyed the POPS on TV for years, but in person the music was gorgeous. And, the commentary by Keith Lockhart was very interesting and fun. So professional, fun and American. Had a great evening.

Acoustics was very poor. Audio very poor. Choice of music made no sense as far as popularity is concerned. Was excited to go. Heard them some years ago and what a difference.!! Venue needed to be smaller. seats so uncomfortable that backaches ensued after,

1/2 of my Bucket list. I want to see the Boston Pops in Boston on 4th of July. I have now seen them in concert, next time in Boston. Truly a great diversified Orchestra. A must see for anyone.

by Juicemans on 2/9/15Amalie Arena - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

we could hear the radio chatter from the staff walkie talkies during the concert. they need to keep those OFF during a concert where the music is very quiet.

  • Boston Pops are legendary

by Married on 2/9/15Amalie Arena - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent show. Accoustics were not the best in the arena, but a thrill always to hear the pops perform.

  • Can't tell the players without a program

by Anonymous on 2/9/15Germain Arena - EsteroRating: 4 out of 5

The musicians were amazing and the variety of music played showed an incredible depth of skill. From scores by classical American composers to contemporary songs from Queen, Abba and the Beatles, the Boston Pops showed its versatility and capability. The only disappointment was that there were no programs available to help the audience understand the progression of the evening or the names of the performers.

  • Keith Lockhart knows how to entertain a crowd

by angusbeef on 2/8/15Amalie Arena - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The Boston Pops performance was flawless. I could have listened to them all night. The conductor, Keith Lockhart spoke to the audience before every piece setting the stage for what we would hear. Loved every minute! I can't wait to see them on the Cape this summer.

The Boston Pops concert was very enjoyable considering the lack of a concert venue. Not able to see the musicians due to elevation but sound was well managed.

  • Magical Evening

    by jam836 on 2/8/15Amalie Arena - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The Boston Pops are a fabulous orchestra under the direction of Keith Lockhart. We have been going to the "Pops" in Boston since the days of Arthur Feidler and have never been disappointed. It is always an uplifting evening filled with easily recognizable music played to perfection. by the orchestra. Keith makes the evening a joy with his introductions of the pieces they are going to play. If you have the opportunity to go to a concert do not miss it, it is a wonderful evening spent.
