Everything about this concert was great. Second time we've been to see the Pops and am already looking forward to the next one. First time we've seen Rockapella and they were excellent.
Wonderful Christmas event. Rocapella was outstanding. Can't wait to see them in concert when they return in March. The lovely young soprano was the best I have ever heard. Her clarity and strength in her voice was sensational. She will have a long, wonderful career! Of course, loved seeing Keith Lockhardt and the Pops orchestra.........have many happy memories of them in Boston....... thank you for coming to NH!
A fun, entertaining, trip down memory lane. Highly recommend for families or groups of friends.
The Boston Pops were more amazing than I could have ever hoped for. Keith Lockhart and the Pops filled the air with beauty and elegance. The music brought joy through out my entire body. I left there wanting more and the music remains in my head just creating the best of best days ever.
My family attends the Pops every year...it is a family tradition. In many ways it is the same every year, and that's frankly what we want. That said, this year the show was changed up...the music was all recognizable (not a Yule song from 500 years ago nobody knows,) Rockapella had a substantial part in the show (a nice add,) the Soprano was excellent, and Miss New Hampshire could hold a tune (well). All in all, this may be the best overall Boston Pops show we've ever seen.
This concert was really terrific! Wonderful music and the pictures on the big screens really added to the experience. The Boston Pops and the UK orchestra were both terrific!
Seeing the Boston Pops was on my husband's bucket list, and that alone far exceeded our expectations, but the event overall, and the wonderful UK Orchestra ... it was SO awesome!! The couple we asked to go with us are younger than we are and not familiar with the Pops ... but they are UK fans and he is a native Kentuckian; they loved it, could not stop talking about it. I've worked with Fran Taylor in the past on minor events at Keeneland, and kudos to her for her part in putting this together. So well done. Beyond Spectacular. First Class all the way.
LOVED IT ! Love the Boston Pops rendition of Queen's song and loved the music. The illustrations of our beloved horse was a great addition.
I don't have a chance to go to many concerts, but when I heard the Boston Pops were playing, I knew I couldn't pass it up. UK Symphony was fantastic as well. I was not disappointed.
The Boston Pops where great and so was the UK Symphony Orchastra. However the combination of both along with the UK choir ( they had three choirs total) was absolutely great. Both of use where suprisingly pleased and would go again
Event was wonderful. A great experience for the University of Kentucky Orchestra to be able to play the the Boston Pops and Keith Lock hart. If anyone has the chance to see the POPS, take it. It's a night to remember!
This was awesome! I loved it. It was great to see an world renowed orchestra enjoy being with a college symphony - very special.
UK students did great job, but Pops were absolutely wonderful. Even not the best venue for this concert wasn't an issue after they started to play. Program were built great ( for 75th Keenland). And idea to bring both orchestras together on stage is great ( what a memories for students). First violin in UK was a little distracrive ( and in Tchaikovsky 1812it was even inappropriate) flirting with first violin from Pops. But hopefully it was because of overwhelming emotions. All together orchestras, choir did such an amazing job! Still wish Lexington would have appropriate venue for this kind of concert.
The show was very impressive. UK's Symphony Orchestra was excellent and the Boston Pops were outstanding. Put them together and the sound they produced was extraordinary. The addition of the Lexington Singers and Lexington Singers Children's Choir and the UK Singers made the evening that much more memorable. Congratulations Keeneland and thank you for bringing all of this to Lexington!

The concert was fantastic!!! I wish it had lasted for hours longer..I could have stayed all night..
My daughter and I loved every minute of the performance. It was extraordinary!!
Both orchestras and all the singers were more than expected. We loved every minute of our evening and would highly suggest seeing any of these groups if at all possible.
The Keeneland 75th anniversary celebration that doubled as a fund raiser for the UK Symphony and fine arts program was a once in a lifetime experience. The Boston Pops was incredible. The UKSO was outstanding as were the UK singers. The event was well presented and reflected the passion of the Commonwealth, that being the "horse". Great event, great evening, and the encore of Stars and Stripes was memorable.
Enjoyed this concert immensely. Both conductors seemed to be having a great time, which added to the atmosphere of the event. The combination of UK, Lexington Singers & Children's Choir did a fantastic job. The whole night was magical.
