Boston Bruins History
Established in 1924, the Boston Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL(Opens in new tab). They won their first of six Stanley Cup championships in just their fifth season in 1929, defeating the defending champions New York Rangers. It was the first Stanley Cup championship to feature two U.S. teams. The Bruins added championships in 1939 and 1941, and between 1943 and 1958 they reached the final five more times.
After the arrival of future Hall of Famers Bobby Orr (a three-time MVP) and Phil Esposito (one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and the first player to score 100 points in a season), the Bruins won Stanley Cup Championships in 1970 and 1972. The image of Orr flying through the air after scoring "The Goal" in overtime to defeat the St. Louis Blues in 1970 is one of the most memorable in hockey history.
On April 9, 2023, the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3, marking their 63rd win of the season and setting a new NHL record for the most single-season wins. They made history again on April 12 when they reached 133 points scored in a single season thanks to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, besting the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the NHL team with the most points scored in a single season.
Twenty-nine straight appearances in the Playoffs followed — a record among all professional sports — including Stanley Cup Final appearances in 1974, 1977–1978, 1988, and 1990.
After a two-decade absence, the Bruins returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011, defeating the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series behind the goaltending of Tim Thomas. To date, the Bruins have made 20 appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including most recently in 2019. Legendary players who have worn the Bruins’ jersey include Hall of Famers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Eddie Shore, and Aubrey "Dit" Clapper.

Everything was great, easy to get tickets and pick them up.
Great game by the Bruins. Seats where were the REAL fans sit and definately buy them again!!!
Home Game 3 of Round 1 when Bruins clinched at home was amazing!!!! I can't even describe the emotion, intensity, excitement, adrenaline - it was as exciting as a Red Sox World Series game!!! Loved every minute of it and can't wait for Round 2 - GO BRUINS!!! Let's win the Stanley Cup - Boston is READY for another championship winner!!!!
The game was awesome, the building was rockin! Great time!
Last nights game was one of the best I have seen in a long time. The Bruins never stoped skating hard, finishing checks etc.. It is great to see fans get behind the team and make the visiting team not wanting to play at the garden like years ago. I was at the game with Bobby Sheenan cup winner with Montreal in 70-71. Bobby is from Weymouth and a Bruins fan. Here is a picture of him with Henri Richard from a couple of weeks ago when we went up to Montreal vs Buffalo.
That about sums it up. Totally bonded with the people around us. Again, the crowd was loud and I'd like to think that we helped the team in some way. :-)
Very intense and high energy game. Great view although seats were far away.
The Bruins came out shooting and hitting which culminated in them winning and moving onto the next round of the playoffs! WHAT A GAME!
There is nothing that compares to a hockey game. The energy was unbelievable and the game was awesome!
I went with my son who's home on Army leave, an infantryman who will likely go to Afghanistan in the fall. That alone make the $300 (two ticket) price worth it win or lose, but then to see a game like this, easily the best game we've seen together in probably the best seats we've ever had (Loge 9, row 17, perfect corner to see the enemy net for two periods) made it so worth while. This was one of the greatest father-son bonding experiences we could have ever had, hockey's always been a common demoninator with us, good times or bad, and this was the hightlight of our hockey times together (besides playing against each other, he skates up, the old man's a goalie, and a good one, if I do say so myself!). If the B's go deep into the playoffs and hell, if they make the finals, I may just have to scrape together some money again and pony up for more tickets.
It is great to see the Bruins - however, the fans are obnoxious and it is difficult to bring a young child to the game with the adults cursing.
Perfect view of the winning double overtime goal! On the edge of our seats for the whole event - couldn't speak the next day!
The game was awesome for they were down by 2 in third period came back to tie the game. Which end up being 2 overtime until the bruins won 3-2
This had to be the best Boston Bruins game I have ever seen! It went into double over time and they took a 3-1 lead in the first round of the playoffs. I can't wait for the next game!
The actual hockey game was great - both Miller and Rask made some unbelievable saves. However, the fans there are just plain rude starting with the 4 drunk kids that sat behind us. Every other word began with a "F". Then it got worse when I got hit in the head twice by his hand and then two more times by the towel they handed out. My son had on his Vanek jersey and I wore a Sabres T-shirt. Throughout the game, we had to hear about Vanek's sexual choice. I only saw one security guard briefly. Just walking through the arena - they would cheer Buffalo Sucks. Not once through the entire game and overtime periods did we say anything about Boston - all we did was clap when the Sabres scored. I have seen Sabre games in Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, and Anaheim and I have to say Boston has the rudiest fans. While waiting for the train, there was a nice couple who were Boston Bruin fans and they were very nice.
The whole experience was unforgettable, the bruins displayed heart and desire, fought through adversity and came up huge in game 4, looking for much of the same, seats were fantastic, ty ticketmaster and bruins for a great night !
Incredible!Crowd was electric. There is nothing better than playoff hockey.
AWESOME - AWESOME - AWESOME GREAT GAME!!! GREAT ATMOSPHERE. GO B'S
Outstanding game. The first two periods were a bit weak for the Bruins, however, they came back strong in the 3rd period and continued that momentum into two overtime periods. Incredible game!!!!
Double overtime winner!! Need I say more. Tickets are always overpriced and so are the concessions, but I'm a die hard B's fan and the game was amazing.
