Boston Bruins History
Established in 1924, the Boston Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL(Opens in new tab). They won their first of six Stanley Cup championships in just their fifth season in 1929, defeating the defending champions New York Rangers. It was the first Stanley Cup championship to feature two U.S. teams. The Bruins added championships in 1939 and 1941, and between 1943 and 1958 they reached the final five more times.
After the arrival of future Hall of Famers Bobby Orr (a three-time MVP) and Phil Esposito (one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and the first player to score 100 points in a season), the Bruins won Stanley Cup Championships in 1970 and 1972. The image of Orr flying through the air after scoring "The Goal" in overtime to defeat the St. Louis Blues in 1970 is one of the most memorable in hockey history.
On April 9, 2023, the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3, marking their 63rd win of the season and setting a new NHL record for the most single-season wins. They made history again on April 12 when they reached 133 points scored in a single season thanks to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, besting the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the NHL team with the most points scored in a single season.
Twenty-nine straight appearances in the Playoffs followed — a record among all professional sports — including Stanley Cup Final appearances in 1974, 1977–1978, 1988, and 1990.
After a two-decade absence, the Bruins returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011, defeating the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series behind the goaltending of Tim Thomas. To date, the Bruins have made 20 appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including most recently in 2019. Legendary players who have worn the Bruins’ jersey include Hall of Famers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Eddie Shore, and Aubrey "Dit" Clapper.

Great game for 58:00 minutes. Last two minutes were tough on the home crowd though.
I always love the atmosphere at a Bruins game, everyone is just out having a great time and the little kids are a lot of fun to see all decked out in their hockey gear. I just wish the referees were more fair and balance in their penalty calls, I think the late calls were unjustified, but we should have been able to hold on to the lead, too.
Not only was it a great game but the seats were were amazing too. Bruins fans really know how to make the rink feel energetic. Awesome time.
The Bruins blew a good lead. There is a problem with this row and there is little room for your legs. I am not tall and it was terribly uncomfortable. They ended up moving our seats. The gentleman in the row behind us said he's never seen anyone stay in those seats for more than 5 minutes.
Our seats were behind the goalie, 9th row. Great seats to see the grit and action. You are so close that you are able to actually see the looks on their faces! The safety netting is right there so it obstructs the view a little, but better than a puck to the head!
Good seats, most of the crowd was well-behaved, and the game was exciting - especially since the Bruins won!
The atmosphere at any Bruins' game it's great. TD Garden is well located, really easy to get in.
The Bruins didn't win it but the experience didn't disappoint!
Really enjoyed the seats, service and access to facility.
Suite seats can't be bad. Able to see all the action! Had a great time!
For balcony seats, they were still really good. Not only that, but I bought the tickets with the student deal. I could see the entire rink and it was not even bad! I definitely will go again if I am in massachusetts. Note: If you're out of state you need to be 25 for a beer :/ but other than that, really fun!
Game was unbelievable! Wonderful experience. Love LOVE that they honor a military person each game. However, this was the season kick off and the outdoor pre-party was not family friendly. Way too much alcohol and screaming loud music. Years ago, it was a wonderful red-carpet event with the ability to get autographs from all the old players. I was disappointed this was not available.
Was a treat for my friends. I had a good time with my friends I invited from Canada, Quebec city.
I love going to the TD Garden. It's always nice to see the game up close and personal.
I had a great time at the bruins game with my boyfriend, and they won 4-1!
Great game, amazing seats, perfect company - the kind of night that dreams are made of!
Very good seats to cheer on Boston Bruins home opener ! Very good game
We have just come back from holiday in Boston and managed to take in a Bruins pre-season game against Washington. It was a brilliant game and very physical. The staff were so friendly and helpful a really enjoyable night.
I had a blast! During warm up I said Hi to Adam Oates & asked him if he would sign my jersey He told me to give it to the security guard & when he went behind the bench he signed it! I ended up sitting in the front row right behind Adam!
Amazing venue, friendly staff. Fantastic seats with great company.
