Boston Bruins History
Established in 1924, the Boston Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL(Opens in new tab). They won their first of six Stanley Cup championships in just their fifth season in 1929, defeating the defending champions New York Rangers. It was the first Stanley Cup championship to feature two U.S. teams. The Bruins added championships in 1939 and 1941, and between 1943 and 1958 they reached the final five more times.
After the arrival of future Hall of Famers Bobby Orr (a three-time MVP) and Phil Esposito (one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and the first player to score 100 points in a season), the Bruins won Stanley Cup Championships in 1970 and 1972. The image of Orr flying through the air after scoring "The Goal" in overtime to defeat the St. Louis Blues in 1970 is one of the most memorable in hockey history.
On April 9, 2023, the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3, marking their 63rd win of the season and setting a new NHL record for the most single-season wins. They made history again on April 12 when they reached 133 points scored in a single season thanks to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, besting the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the NHL team with the most points scored in a single season.
Twenty-nine straight appearances in the Playoffs followed — a record among all professional sports — including Stanley Cup Final appearances in 1974, 1977–1978, 1988, and 1990.
After a two-decade absence, the Bruins returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011, defeating the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series behind the goaltending of Tim Thomas. To date, the Bruins have made 20 appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including most recently in 2019. Legendary players who have worn the Bruins’ jersey include Hall of Famers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Eddie Shore, and Aubrey "Dit" Clapper.

First time at a hockey game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to go again
it was a graet game and we have won.I come from germany and I saw my favorite HOCKEY-TEAM, at the first time live. Very NICE!!!!!!!!!!!
The seats are great. We did not have to wait in line outside of the Arena. We were also allowed to enter 2 hours early. We had a really good view and were surrounded by great fans. I strongly recommend sitting in these seats even with the premium prices. GREAT EXPERIENCE. Service to the seats were great as well.
If you're for deafening Grunge and Rap, for light displays and non-stop advertisements, than TD Garden is the place. They've ruined the game for hockey fans! Watch at home.
Thank you Ticketmaster for making it an easy, stress free process to buy tickets. This was my first hockey and bruins game I'd ever seen live. I travelled from Australia to see a game. Atmosphere was absolutely amazing. I'm coming back..... Go Bruins!
We've talked about taking the train from Maine to a Bruins game for 3 years... Finally we did it. I wish we'd done it sooner. My daughter leaves for college soon and adventures like this won't come along too often anymore. My advice to you... Do it! We had a blast and talked and laughed our way to The Garden on the Downeaster. Had dinner in Boston and then watched the Bruins win! A special and memorable night!
Great team, great seats and a great match, Go Bruins!
Awesome game! I took my 3 sons, ages 6, 8 and 15 and they had a blast. We were able to watch warm ups from the first row. Only paid $11 to park in Government Center. The concession prices at the Garden, however, are quite high. The Bruins won, 5-1. Walked to Quincy Market, Fanuiel Hall and the Aquarium after the game which is easy walking distance from the Garden. Great day all around!
The "new" Garden is so much more comfortable and spectator friendly than the 13,909 Garden I grew up with. It's a great venue and makes attending the games a pleasure. And it's great to see the Bruins in person this season. It was a good game and a satisfying Bruin win.
Bruins at the Garden, what's better than that? Good food, beers and hockey!
Bruins won - I was a great game! Wonderful plays but too many shots on goal, that weren't scores.
What a great night out with hubby and son. It was my son's 1st game and he had a great time. The seats were awesome and the Bruins won 2-1!
I had a blast! I'm a huge Adam Oates fan and he signed 2 of my cards and took a picture with me! Plus the Bruins won.
exciting game even though we lost. surrounded by true Bruins fans and well-behaved
I took my sister and my nephew to their first Bruins game. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. We had a great time and with the Bruins scoring seven goals made the time even better. Cannot wait until our next game. GO BRUINS!!
Started off a little slow with the play, and then boom they (Boston Bruins) scored 2 goals in the 1st period and then as they say the rest is history. They continued to poor on the offense and before you knew it it was 5 -2 and then it cotinued with the final score being 7-2 with a chance for a hat trick from 37 patrice bergereon
The Bruins killed the Panthers! A Tukka vs. Thomas!! LOVED every second of the beat down! haha
Christmas present for my daughter..good seats...had a very good time..B's won and a few goals and fight right in front of us.
