Boston Bruins History
Established in 1924, the Boston Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL(Opens in new tab). They won their first of six Stanley Cup championships in just their fifth season in 1929, defeating the defending champions New York Rangers. It was the first Stanley Cup championship to feature two U.S. teams. The Bruins added championships in 1939 and 1941, and between 1943 and 1958 they reached the final five more times.
After the arrival of future Hall of Famers Bobby Orr (a three-time MVP) and Phil Esposito (one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and the first player to score 100 points in a season), the Bruins won Stanley Cup Championships in 1970 and 1972. The image of Orr flying through the air after scoring "The Goal" in overtime to defeat the St. Louis Blues in 1970 is one of the most memorable in hockey history.
On April 9, 2023, the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3, marking their 63rd win of the season and setting a new NHL record for the most single-season wins. They made history again on April 12 when they reached 133 points scored in a single season thanks to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, besting the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the NHL team with the most points scored in a single season.
Twenty-nine straight appearances in the Playoffs followed — a record among all professional sports — including Stanley Cup Final appearances in 1974, 1977–1978, 1988, and 1990.
After a two-decade absence, the Bruins returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011, defeating the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series behind the goaltending of Tim Thomas. To date, the Bruins have made 20 appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including most recently in 2019. Legendary players who have worn the Bruins’ jersey include Hall of Famers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Eddie Shore, and Aubrey "Dit" Clapper.

Overtime win and a great game! Let's have more games / wins like this, please. Literally our second home this year.
The seat was fine and I had great view. I was satisfied with cleanness and comfort.
Bruins are struggling but the game was exciting, Went to a shoot out.
Seats were terrific. Very enjoyable game. Too bad the Bruins lost in the shoot out.
You cannot beat an original six hockey venue! Though TD Gardens is small and expensive, it is still a great place to see a game. I would highly recommend it.
First period was great, even lots of goals. Then the teams went out of steam and spectators also had vacation time meaning not amazing supporting and quite many empty seats.
Had great seats players are huge when you are close up. Exciting game with a win
Travelled to Boston to see some sports games including Bruins. Excellent experience from travelling to TD Gardens, seating, atmosphere, game... Can't wait to do it again.
Love the Bruins, Great game, great facility! Seat were fine
The game was fantastic. The B's kept the pressure on for much of the game. We had great seats for the game as the Bruins started shooting at the goal below us and ended the game that way as well.
Always worth a trip to the Garden to watch the Big, Bad, Bruins play!
Great game! Always stay true to B's. No better place to watch a hockey game than there yourself!
Amazing game . Great crowd ; great people & awesome staff :)
Good to see the B's get back to back wins before the holiday break...good game, good seats, enjoyed the time with my son - tradition. Only down side was the $11.50 beer cost. Really TD Garden?
The game was great! The exception was the people sitting in the seats around us. The two high school age girls in front of us were spilling their beers everywhere, and the lady sitting next to me spent the majority of the game leaning into my seat and on her cell phone. Another frustrating thing was they were allowing people to come and go through the playing time. So half of the game was missed due to people standing to allow people back to their seats. Just not something I would expect paying 250 dollars a ticket.
From the top row in the balcony behind the Bruins net for two periods; we saw all the action unobstructed. The lights, the noise and the crowd made it an exciting and great night of overtime hockey.
Our second home! Bruins fans rock the house when we score. Wish we had won, but still always a great time!
Thank you TDBank for our Christmas Tree Swag. Great game, just wish we had won, lost in overtime.
Bruins games are awesome, even from the top-most row (I almost like it better from up there...)!
I took my 2 daughter's to their first game and it was an incredible experience! We had an unbelievable time as the B's won in overtime. I can't wait until the next time we can do it again.
