Indie darling BØRNS puts an unexpected twist on pop music by incorporating ‘70s glam rock with electronica elements to make super catchy tracks. Building on the grandiose rock sound of bands like T. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

A professional magician at the age of 10, Garrett Borns was destined to perform. Originally raised in the suburbs of Grand Rapids, MI, the prodigious young artist relocated to New York before eventually settling in Los Angeles in 2013. There he assembled a band and switched his stage name to BØRNS, and in 2014 he released his debut single “10,000 Emerald Pools”. In early 2015 he made his national television debut on Conan, which helped him land an opening tour spot for indie pop band MisterWives. Following his well-received 2015 debut album Dopamine, BØRNS further grew his fanbase on tours with emerging popstar Charlie XCX and indie pop band Bleachers. He’s also become a festival favorite thanks to passionate performances at Lollapalooza, Life Is Beautiful, and Austin City Limits, and fans can’t wait to see what he conjures up next—both on stage and in the studio.

    Initially, I had no idea who BORNS was when I booked the tickets for my 14 year-old daughter ( who went with a friend). At the concert, there were a few songs I have heard before and a few new ones. The concert was very good - I later found myself listening to BORNS again and again on Spotify. I would definitely go see BORNS again. The venue opened at 6:30 and the two opening acts started at 7:30. The first band was awful . – some girl who continued to sing in the same range for all her songs. The second opening act was very good and deserved playing at the Electric Factory.

    The show was great. The venue was great. He had 2 opening bands so it took him a while to get on stage. I can understand hes a new artist and doesnt have a great deal of music out. His voice was very good and i tune. The band was very good. I would definitely go when he comes around again.

    One hell of a show for a crappy venue

    BØRNS was amazing, an experience to remember. Honestly I had ear orgasms, Garratt Børns is so perfectly sexual and the only man who can pull off a crop top and giant horse gold necklace and make me walk out wishing the concert never ended. Also, amazing tribute to David Bowie as an encore. The opening act Forigen Air was also amazing, friends who came with me didn't know Børns and said they wished Børns had opened for Forigen Air (I would debate that but they were still great)

    Amazing performance, wonderfully cool dude. You can tell how passionate he is about his music, and I loved that he altered some of his songs (acoustic) for the concert. Really cool.

    I first fell in love with børns over the summer. I saw him live a few months later, in August, and was ASTOUNDED at how beautiful his live voice was. He was only the opening act then, but he was amazing. When I heard he was coming back as a headliner, I was so excited to see what a true BØRNS show would be like. I cannot stress enough, but he did not dissapoint at all. The vocals were just as incredible as the first time I heard him, and I loved getting to hear more of his original content live. The lighting, the atmosphere, the whole show was a like a cinematic piece of beauty. Every single aspect was so pleasing! BØRNS is an artist that I could see live a thousand times and still enjoy the show every bit as I did the first time! Something about his energy and presence makes it really easy for me as a fan to lose myself and just have fun in the music. I adore you, Garrett Borns. (And Jon, the guitarist, is always a pleasure to see too. So cute.)
