  • Not What I Expected

by Chely on 4/16/23Kalamazoo State Theatre - KalamazooRating: 3 out of 5

Was so excited to see Bored Teachers Comedy Tour at the State Theater in Kalamazoo. I watch the videos on Facebook and can relate to their stories. However, the comedy tour show seemed to have little to do with teaching. Also, I know that when you see a comedy show, it can be a little dirty with the humor; this show was almost vulgar with some of the humor and it had nothing to do with the comedians sexual identity. On a side not, those in my section also had to put up with a very drunk, loud, aggressive, confrontational women who had to be taken out of the auditorium 3 times before they removed her permanently. We missed a good portion of the show due to her unacceptable behavior. I truly feel sorry for her colleagues and her students. She was there representing teachers and her behavior was atrocious!

Not funny it was a waste of time and money. The venue was very nice though.

It was a great time and so funny! My only wish was that it started on time and lasted longer! Merch was mostly sold out after, so I was bummed.

  • Not my cup of tea.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t drunk enough to enjoy most of the show. Too raunchy for my taste. Left halfway through show.

  • Great Date Night

by Smarty on 4/14/23Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the tickets for myself and my friend, who retired from 40 years of teaching. We loved all the gentlemen that were in the performance. Each one had many relatable stories. I wasn’t an educator but enjoyed the other point of view.

  • Not what I expected!

by 3rd grade teacher on 4/14/23Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 1 out of 5

While I loved Gerry Brooks, I was very disappointed in the rest of the show! I expected to have teacher comedy. The “F” word was used more times than I can count in addition to the practically every other swear word available. The content was wasn’t even school related on the other comedians. If that’s what you’re looking for, then this is your show. If you are the least bit conservative, you’ll want to skip this one!

  • 5 Star!!

This was the funniest show I’ve ever seen!! Definitely getting tickets when they come back to town!

  • A bit disappointed in the show content

by Miss Lori J on 4/11/23The Santander Performing Arts Center - ReadingRating: 1 out of 5

Although it was fun to see the TikTok personnel in person, I was disappointed in the content of the show. On their tiktok platforms they outline humorous satire of the life of a teacher and humor from the classroom. On their promotionals for this show, they did humorous lines enticing to come to the show - and that's the content I was expecting to enjoy. In actuality, the content was crude, the "F" word in everything, they gave a review of their personal lives- things non related to the classroom or teacher humor. I was disappointed

  • Funny but…

by MJ on 4/8/23The Santander Performing Arts Center - ReadingRating: 2 out of 5

This was a great show but needed some fine tuning. It wasn’t as funny as I expected and didn’t include as many jokes pertaining to or connecting to teachers as I anticipated

  • Pleasantly Surprised

The show was incredible! I'm not a teacher and I still enjoyed it, and laughed a lot!!! Highly recommend.

  • Fun Spring Break Kick-off

by Jay Hatton on 4/6/23Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

Had a lot of fun going to this with a teacher friend, and it was a great way to kick-off Spring Break! Will have to do again sometime!

So the show was pretty good, alittle loud. There were some things, like the fact that so many of the toilets didn't flush. It wasn't the most comfortable seating arrangement long rows so if you were in the end you had to move for others or in the middle you had to ask others to move. I did enjoy the show wish they could've been here longer.

  • Funny

I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. They were funny. I would go back and see them again. I would recommend this to them to any of my teacher friends l

  • You can't make this up

by Wisegirlb on 4/5/23Sandler Center For The Performing Arts - Virginia BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed my evening at the Bored Comedy Tour. All "Teachers/Comedians" were hilarious. I know there's enough material to keep this up. Would love to see more

  • Funny but not funny

    by J. H. on 4/4/23Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 2 out of 5

I liked parts of this show. They were funny and on point. But, and it is a big but, I was upset and disgusted by the language and sexual content. I came to relax and reset on the first day of my Spring break. That did not happen. The foul language brought back the trauma we suffer in a high needs classroom with behavior students. I do not care about nor do I want to hear abt someones sex life and or exploits regardless of sexual orientation. This was not the time nor place for that topic and is NOT funny but extremely embarrassing. Shame on Bored Teachers for allowing that content! The Face Book and Youtube channels are funny and spot on, this show was neither.

  • Hilarious!

by Sara B. on 4/4/23Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

A great show just for teachers! My friend and I laughed until we cried. Great comedic timing and hilarious stories from all performers. Would definitely go again!

  • FUN

by Carmen on 4/4/23Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

Fun to be with fellow teachers! Retired 22 years. It brought it all back home. Really, not much has changed. So let’s laugh about the hardest job on Earth. Everyone was super funny. Go!!

  • Meh

Was satisfactory for a $45 show. Best and most relatable was the teacher from spots ynia

  • Interesting and on the edge

by KT on 4/4/23The Lyric - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

The sound was not great at the Lyric for this show. It was so loud that we couldn't always tell what was being said. As an elementary educator, I'd like to have another comedian with that view point. I did like all of them though. My husband and I thought a better name for the show would have been "Teacher's Unleashed!" I think I'm very lucky to work in a county and school where I don't face a lot of the situations these teacher's face. We thought administrators might not find it so funny.
