So funny! I could barely catch my breath!! Would go again!
Overall, enjoyable show. Would have liked more school specific stories - too much personal filler from a couple of the acts. Fourth act talked very fast and was hard to catch all that was being said.
Laugh out loud funny! Bring tissues for the laughing tears!
The sits at the walker theater were uncomfortable and me and my friend who attended were sardine in. With no extra room. The prices was rigjt for the whole event though. And didn't last all nite.
I'm not even a teacher and I still laughed my butt off. Would recommend this show to anyone.
It was ok but I was surprised at the amount of foul language the comedians used. They don’t tell you when you buy tickets who is going to be there and there were four comedians I’d never heard of and none of my favorites were there. IMO, they should let you know ahead of time who you’re seeing and schedule a headliner or two.
The Bored Teacher Show was the best onstage show I have ever seen. The three comedians were hysterically funny, both about teaching and teaching life. Every teacher, newby or vet needs to take advantage of an opportunity to attend. The meet and greet was a unique experience to take pictures and meet the comedians. However, the Saenger staff blew the lanyard process. We were not advised on how to obtain the lanyards on entrance to the theater. After the show, we were sent all over the theater to find the lanyards. We were then instructed to get in line where a man had lanyards to give out. We received one of two lanyards. (I had 8 meet and greet tickets). I am 73 years old and retired from 50 years of teaching. TRIVIAL. YES. BUT IMPORTANT TO ME
I thought by it being teachers, it would be clean. Another thing that bothered me was that there was a lot of teachers in the audience that thought this was funny. If we had not been in the middle, we would have left.
I treated my daughter & her partner as they both work in the MS school district. They throughly enjoyed the comedians along with everyone there, teachers & non-teachers.
I know cursing is much more prevalent now than a few years ago. However, it still grates on me to hear so much of it when it really isn’t necessary. I understand it’s a comedy show, but it shouldn’t be a given that crude language must be included. The entire show would have been just as funny without it!
A must see! Every single comedian/teacher put on a great show. Me and the hubby probably was the only non teacher in there but definitely could relate to their story lines. Didn’t know any of them prior to the show but best believe I brag on them now.
Here’s my review: 1. Kc Mack Funny=hilarious, tears down my face, cheeks hurt from laughing funny 2. Liz Blanc= sarcastically funny 3. Chinedu Unaka=emcee needs to enunciate, somewhat funny 4. Andrea Caspari=not funny
I was disappointed, because based on the title "you can't make this up"I thought the comedy was going to be about the funny things that happened in the classroom. There was some about the classroom, but most of it was about the comedian person life and not the classroom. I taught for 29 years and I know there is plenty of things that happens in the classroom to fill the 2 hours of comedy. The comedians were funny, with 2 of them talking alot about being fat. Most of the crowd was young, loud, and drunk teachers, with some of them trying to be part of the show. I didn't pay to see loud drunk females make fool of themselves. Would I go to another show by this gruop NO! Would I recommend it? NO, unless you want to go to a show that is different from what was advertised and filled with young, drunk females.
Laughed from beginning to end. Each comedian brought there own special vibe with the same goal in mind, to make us laugh out loud. We did!! I loved it!!! So glad they were in my area. I would welcome the chance to see them again. It's a thumbs up for me😂😂😂
This show never fails. The teacher comedians are spot on, and it validates the rest of us as teachers. Using humor to get around, over, through, and by all that is thrown our way. The best!!!!!
I love the teacher energy in the room, there was a lot of support for the comedians! However, it felt like more of a pep rally for school staff; I think I would rather make a donation to their cause than to physically get dressed, drive out and sit in a space where it was clear that I was an outsider. Not against teacher humor, just didn't find it very funny - probably because I am not a teacher. I love the concept though, and teachers and school admin definitely need their space to laugh and decompress. Happy back to school 2023. God bless you. For real.
Loved the show, bring them back! The Center Stage, not so much. To be paying the highest price for folding chairs is simply ridiculous. The AC was not working and made it almost impossible to enjoy the entertainment. The floors were so sticky (never been cleaned?) that it pulled my shoe off. Walking in and out of the venue was hazardous due to uneven floors and no markings, prone to falling Do not recommend
The comedians were terrific! I have zero complaints about the show. The venue on the other hand was horrible. Center Stage in Atlanta had no AC. It was uncomfortable from the heat and the ridiculously narrow seats. Then to make matters worse, a giant rat ran up the steps and across the floor in front of us and then back a few minutes later. I’d love to see Bored Teachers again but will probably never go to Center Stage ever again.
I give the comedians 5 stars for their entertaining stand up. Great job!! HOWEVER, the sweltering temperature of Center Stage was not 5 stars. Come on, it is JULY IN GEORGIA the facility should have been prepared. The temperature felt like I was sitting in a sauna!
The show was great! If only the air conditioner had worked at the venue
