  • Disappointing

by Old Teacher on 1/28/24The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoRating: 3 out of 5

The first few acts were terrific; but then it degenerated into a swear-fest with an inordinate amount of swearing. There is absolutely no reason why such vulgarity was deemed necessary or appropriate. I was really looking forward to this event and was so sorely disappointed when the acts departed from the wholesome, hilarious snippets I'd seen online. There is an abundance of subject matter in the everyday teacher's life to provide the presenters with comedic material without having to rely on crassness. I hope whoever produces the "Bored Teachers"will take this to heart.

  • Laugh out loud

Loved every minute! Was a great teacher night out event. Can’t wait to come again!

  • This is what all teachers need for their mental health!

by Mrs. B on 11/23/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best night I've had in a long time! Non stop laughter with my besties. The comedians were on point and hilarious. I highly recommend this show to anyone in the teaching field!

  • Fun & Fellowship!

by Tony T on 11/23/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

When we purchased these tickets and invited some current and former educators to join us, we had no idea that "Bored Teachers"would be such an incredibly hilarious experience! Each comedian brought a unique, yet highly entertaining perspective. Please make this an annual Rialto Theater event. Laughter is exactly what we needed this weekend!

  • It was entertaining

by Nikkidoodle on 11/22/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 4 out of 5

Two of the four comedians were especially funny. The other two were o.k. The guy who opened the show was the best, so the others did not meet my expectations which was disappointing a bit.

  • So funny

This show was so funny, my drinks started to run out my nostrils I was laughing so hard

  • AMAZING

I have nothing bad to say. I laughed the whole entire time. 10/10 highly recommend.

  • Wear Your Depends If You Pee When You Laugh!

by MiddleSchoolMath on 11/21/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

This is literally the funniest show I've ever seen (way better than the Pete Davidson/John Mulaney show I just saw at the Rialto). Devin Seibold and KC Mack were just the best and the other teachers (I'm so sorry, I can't remember their names!) were funny, too. If you are a teacher or have heard teacher stories, this is a must-see show. I'm hoping to see another Bored Teachers Show with different teachers.

  • MUCH needed comic relief

by Lisa on 11/21/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

EVERY teacher - future, current and past - needs to see this show! Just to know ¨you´re not alone!¨

  • Beautiful Venue

by Kat on 11/21/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 4 out of 5

Thr Venue was great. The Rialto is beautiful and it makes event there seem more like you are part of the event. I really enjoyed the first two comedians. The last two used more foul language than I would have preferred.

  • Great Performances

by Cheryl on 11/21/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

Highly recommend this show. The show was sold out. Love to see the performers take actual situations from school and find the humor in them. Creative and innovative material.

  • Meh

by Chihuahua on 11/21/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 3 out of 5

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was a bit disappointed in the end. It wasn't as funny as the material that they have online.

  • Lotsa laughs

by General on 11/21/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 3 out of 5

Show was good. First teacher from Florida was great. Great jokes, great timing. Second was pretty good, too. Last two were ok, but kind of strayed off the teacher theme. Probably won't see another tour.

  • Hilarious

    by Trish108 on 11/21/23Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

If you are a teacher, I highly recommend. It is called "You Can't Make This Stuff Up"for a reason. Even if you aren't a teacher, you'll still enjoy it.

  • Great show VIP PASS not worth the money

by Lorla on 11/19/23Goodyear Theater - AkronRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great. The VIP pass was not worth the money. Lined us up for a very quick picture and out the door. We didn't get to talk to anyone. Not really a meet & greet.

  • Laughter is good for the soul

by Rna on 11/19/23Goodyear Theater - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

Great night out with the teacher besties- much worth it. Such relatable content to bond over our trauma, bizarre stories, and never-ending list of expectations. The energy was great and comedians were very easy to laugh along with.

  • Hoped for more

by Bored Teacher on 11/15/23MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 3 out of 5

We enjoyed 2 of the comedians -mostly because their acts played to the audience full of educators. The others were mediocre. We hoped for more school humor

  • Laughed so hard I lost my teacher voice!

by Mariteach428 on 11/15/23MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 5 out of 5

All the comedians were awesome Had a great time Planning a 2024 road trip to see them again!

  • Too short

by Wally on 11/14/23MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 3 out of 5

It was interesting that the female comedians were the most provocative. Posted as 7:30-11:30 but really was 8-9:30. All in all a good laugh.
