My husband and I enjoyed The River Bride. We went as just enjoying a night out, we don't know anyone affiliated with the play. I felt like the acting was good, especially for a smaller venue. I especially enoyed the father in the story. The scenery was very well done and I also quite enjoyed feeling like the audience is there, in the river, watching the events unfold. My only complaint would be the two times when one of the women in the cast gets dressed. Yes, the lights are dimmed and you mostly see shadow, but it still seemed unnecessary to me. The other female lead who changed outfits was able to do so off stage. But, overall an enjoyable night out and we are glad we went.
