    Loved It!

by BodeansBestFan on 8/19/10Aladdin Theater - Portland

The Aladdin Theater is the perfect venue for the Bodeans--small and intimate, yet great sound. The Bodeans are getting older (and so are their fans) but their voices and music are still great! The concert was way too short for me - I wished they would've gone on for another hour...On the other hand, then it would have gone past my bedtime! Bodeans' fans are fun to mix with!

    Bodeans Rock!

by Grooter on 8/14/10Aladdin Theater - Portland

As corny as it may sound, it was a dream come true to finally see the Bodeans perform live. They played their hearts out, played all my favorite songs and played some new ones from their current release (Magic Garden). They played nearly non-stop for over 2 hours and were very engaging with the audience. The Aladdin was an excellent, intimate setting to enjoy their performance. They are a must see - they are very talented and have so many excellent, rocking songs!

    A quarter century of rock

by jkdufair on 8/2/10Vogue Theatre - Indianapolis

After almost a quarter century, the BoDeans still have the passion and the spirit that has made them rock all along. A nice mix of favorites and new tracks from Mr. Sad Clown was played. They really know how to craft an excellent night of entertainment and you can't find a better venue than The Vogue to see them.

Still on top of their game!!

by JMoab on 7/31/10Vogue Theatre - Indianapolis

The DoDeans have always been one of the most underrated bands in America. While most of their best songwriting is behind them, they still deliver the goods night in and night out. Last night was no exception. Sammy's voice is as strong as ever, and Kurt's guitar work just gets better and better. You will never be disappointed by a BoDean's show!

    The BoDeans rock the Vogue

by BrentD on 7/31/10Vogue Theatre - Indianapolis

The BoDeans put on one hell of a show. The whole house was jumping. The set list contained not only new but all the way back the the first album. Closing the show with Closer to Free was fabulous.

Rock n Roll at it's Best

    by convert2 on 7/12/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

My husband I thoroughly loved this concert!! My husband was already a fan the last few years. He wanted me to listen to their CDs. Well, I was impressed, but not nearly as impressed as Saturday Night at the Blue Bird! We have seen GREAT Rock n Roll, such as: The Who, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Santana, BB King, Los Lobos, Van Morrison, to name a few. WE think the Bodeans are the same caliber as the above mentioned, and can ROCK with the best of them!!! Great song writing, great musicians and phenomenal voices!!!! Hope to see you again very soon!!!!!!

    Bodeans---AWESOME

by cfted on 7/12/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

First saw the Bodeans at the Glenn Miller Ballroom in Boulder in the 80's. I was hooked! The show at the Bluebird was AWESOME! I took my 17 year old daughter who grew up listining to them but this was her first time seeing them live. She loved the show too! Thanks guys!

    Still Amazing

by Patticaque on 7/11/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

As always, they have a nack of getting people moving. Seems the older they get and the older I get, they still have a way of getting the adrenaline going in me. I can't imagine a time when they could ever wear out. They are still the BoDeans and htey are still amazing to see in concert.

    They keep rockin' your socks

by Bolderfan on 7/11/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

Unlike last time I saw them ( believe it was the 25th anniversery of thier first album) the Bodeans worked seemlessly between crowd favortives and new tunes from Mr. Sad Clowns ( some beefed up from the studio versions). They really had the crowd in thier hands and could have played another hour with no drop in energy from the crowd.

    Bodean night at the Bird

by longnoc on 7/11/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

Band was great but 25 minutes late. Air inside the Bluebird was not moving, stale and too warm. The sound system had a strange distortion from one speaker and needs attention.

    BoDeans-best performance in years

by BoDenz1 on 6/1/10Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

Having seen this band in concert over 30 times in 8 cities...I can honestly say this one one of their best performances. Playing songs from almost every album, including rare favorites such as Beaujolais, it was a change of pace from the avid BoDeans concert-goer. Classic songs like She's a Runaway were played in a different tempo and added to the intimate feeling given by added tales of how the song ideas came.

    BoDeans

by KCFORD on 5/31/10Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

With their new album out, the BoDeans held nothing back. The first concert, acoustic style, in Milwaukee this past Friday night was simply amazing. A mix of new and old and sing along kept the crowd energized all night!

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN

by Redwriteson on 5/31/10Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

The Bodeans played a memorable show in Milwaukee to an audience that, no doubt, has followed them for years. The mostly Boomer crowd was appreciative of the work being done on stage. Yet unlike past shows, I didn't have a problem seeing the stage because of spontaneous dancing. It's true, you can enjoy the Bodeans from the comfort of your seat! Having said that, the band still has a number of tricks up its sleeve to get the audience up on its feet to pretend one more time that they're young ancf capable of doing anything. Apparently, the same mass hypnosis tricks work for singing as well. I swear that I sounded just as good singing with the them as I did 20 years ago!

    BoDeans seem depressed

by otter329 on 5/29/10Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

Having seen this band over a dozen times, I was disappointed in the lack of energy and they seemed depressed. Saying we are going to take all our old songs to a new "intimate" level was code for slowing it way down to a pace that in my opinion ruined the songs. I'm not saying they have to play each note like they did on the radio, but this was not good. Kurt especially seemed unhappy to be there the whole time.
