BOB MOSES IN CONCERT:
Bob Moses has gone from underground buzz band to festival favorite thanks to a darkly seductive house sound that combines top-notch songwriting skills with electronic production techniques. Meshing guitar licks, a moody smolder and a dash of dance-floor ambience with lyrical depth and classic songwriting, the duo created a sound that appeals equally to club goers and rock music fans. Translating their sound seamlessly to the live performance realm, years of nonstop global touring - including appearances at every major festival from Glastonbury and Coachella, to EDC, Lollapalooza and beyond - cemented the duo's reputation as a must see live act. A standout performance on The Ellen Show, a pair of nominations at both the Junos and the Grammys (and a Grammy win), and a top 15 US Alternative radio hit with "Tearing Me Up," have further sealed the band's burgeoning mainstream success.
May 2018 saw the announcement of a headline US tour and the release of track "Heaven Only Knows," the first new music from the next exciting phase for Bob Moses.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Bob Moses, the Vancouver-bred duo consisting of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, came to life in the Brooklyn underground scene in 2012. Early single releases on taste-making electronic label Scissor & Thread led to signing with Domino and the late 2015 release of their debut album Days Gone By.

Timing is everything and honestly, the gentlemen of Bob Moses are proof that synchronistic events are a bit divine, and thank God for that :) They reconnected when the time was right, and we all benefit from their musical bond. They're hot, they're fresh and yes, they're smooth, and in control like a pair of hands on your hips stirring you into a frenzy. A delicious, swirling mass of pulsing rhythm that beats with your heart, so you can fall into lyrics and be caressed by a voice that I can still hear. Too much is NEVER enough with Bob Moses.
This is my second time seeing Bob Moses live in concert and once again they did not disappoint! The lead singer sang his heart out. As a Canadian band I have to say they are by far my favourite. Proving once again that Canadian talent is blowing up all over North America. Go Bob Moses goooo!!!
Show was amazing. Such talent and energy. Can't wait to see Bob Moses again!
Bob Moses is one of my favorite bands. They have such a great sound and play so well live. I make sure never to miss a show when they come to nyc.
Wow, I was looking forward to this show and it was great! Bob Moses is amazing live. They are fun, full of energy, and sound great. The whole night I was front row drinking with friends and dancing to all the acts which I've since added to my music collection, Weval and No Regular Play. Bob Moses come back to NYC soon so I know I can be promised a night full of dancing and delicious beats.
We had an amzing time but it was wayyy too many people. Also, NoRegularPlay are fantastic MUSICIANS not just DJs.
In the age of the mass-produced sound, Bob Moses is a welcome change! The guys put their hearts and souls into every performance and they do not disappoint! They combine textures of sound that create memorable and deep tracks. Love them live!!
I'd been looking forward to this concert for weeks, but what sounds great on album was...not so great live. Terribly untight, mushy sound, singing very average if anything. Clearly a very well produced act that should go back to the rehearsal room.
Bob Moses did not disappoint! Great energy, drums were fantastic, light show on point (maybe wear sunglasses? I saw a couple people with sunglasses and thought they were just trying to look cool, but maybe it was for the intensely bright light show). Venue was nice but drinks pretty pricey. Show started way too late, especially for a weeknight. Overall I would totally recommend.
Bob Moses is all you need. What an incredible act.
