BOB MOSES IN CONCERT:
Bob Moses has gone from underground buzz band to festival favorite thanks to a darkly seductive house sound that combines top-notch songwriting skills with electronic production techniques. Meshing guitar licks, a moody smolder and a dash of dance-floor ambience with lyrical depth and classic songwriting, the duo created a sound that appeals equally to club goers and rock music fans. Translating their sound seamlessly to the live performance realm, years of nonstop global touring - including appearances at every major festival from Glastonbury and Coachella, to EDC, Lollapalooza and beyond - cemented the duo's reputation as a must see live act. A standout performance on The Ellen Show, a pair of nominations at both the Junos and the Grammys (and a Grammy win), and a top 15 US Alternative radio hit with "Tearing Me Up," have further sealed the band's burgeoning mainstream success.
May 2018 saw the announcement of a headline US tour and the release of track "Heaven Only Knows," the first new music from the next exciting phase for Bob Moses.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Bob Moses, the Vancouver-bred duo consisting of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, came to life in the Brooklyn underground scene in 2012. Early single releases on taste-making electronic label Scissor & Thread led to signing with Domino and the late 2015 release of their debut album Days Gone By.
It was my first time going to Bob Moses concert and they were absolutely great! They played both new and old material and sounded great! I can’t wait to see them at a larger venue. 9:30 club is same as always

I love the fact they had a drummer & another guitarist. It added another beautiful layer to the performance. They all sang beautifully, Bob Moses energy was everything. Their positive vibe ran through me. Their play list was fantastic! New & old songs. There were some songs i never heard, but now it’s on rotation. I danced all night & I hope they come back to DC soon. They gave an Amazing & Outstanding performance. I loved it!!!
Bob Moses is great but the venue just wasn’t them. Not really great acoustics and energy from the crowd. I would recommend a much larger venue.
Amazing show!! Such good energy and a great crowd. Every band member had their own unique style. Keyboard and bass player really killed it! 🔥
I was kept informed regarding times and places to be. I had a Q&A pkg.which Im glad I bought. Getting up close and personal to ask questions was amazing. The theater was perfect and just the right size. There was minimal seating on the sides which was nice as most danced all nite. Great fun!
This was the opening stop on their tour, and the whole show was so polished and fun. Their set has a great flow with new tracks and old favs. The sound was really great and the crowd's energy was awesome. Can't wait to see their next show!! Don't miss this talented artist!
I am a big fan of BM. They have a great sound and presence on stage. The venue is incredible.

I have been to this venue several times, and I’ve never experienced such long lines at the bar. All of them were crazy long, and they all ran out of bar fruit early on in the evening. Other than that though the band was great!
The opener, Mansionair, was AMAZING!!!! Bob Moses was rock, very different than album but alright. Understandable in a live situation. Overly crowded though. The people were very rude.
Bob moses and Mansionair both put on amazing performances. I love the smaller intimate venu because it seems you can no longer get the personalized experience anymore with big Stadium shows. I was completely enthralled every single second of each performance. Totally worth staying up past my bedtime on a Tuesday !
Band was great. Very tight and played all my favs. I was disappointed however because there was definitely something wrong with the sound—it was a speaker maybe near us? Very muddy most of the time. It was never addressed the entire show.
Thoroughly enjoyed both bands and the newly revamped venue. We opted for upgraded seating at the Varsity and were truly treated like special guests.

I'm not to heavily into this type of music, but I was beyond impressed with the tune on radio, and even more impressed with them live. Phenomenal performance, and will see them again!
Bob Moses was such a fantastic show. The opening act Mansionair was also perfect for the show bill. The theater was packed, but not overpacked to where ou couldn’t move. Everyone was dancing and having a great time, including the security guard! Gosh I wish I could do it all over again!! Best ever <3
The performance was great.The only downside of the event was that in the flyer or event link doesn’t say what was the timeframe for the show. We thought Bob Moses would have someone open for him and the show will be till midnight. We got there 9:15 and unfortunately the show continued only till 11. Too short for such a great performance.
