    Bo Burns 'em

by calebs on 10/9/09Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

Bo Burnham is hilarioius. His comedic timing is awesome, and his lyrics are very intelligent, especially considering he graduated high school in 2008. $25 is a bit steep for a small venue show, but if anyone could charge that much, it would be Bo.

Bo Burnham proves his comedic genius again and aga

by SonnyT on 10/9/09Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

Easily the best comedian I've ever seen live, he mixed up his routine with old and new songs, along with some stand up and hilarious improv.

    Bo Burnham was great!

by rogersmn on 10/9/09Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

After spending months laughing at Bo's videos on YouTube, it was amazing to finally see, hear and meet him face-to-face. The tickets were actually bought so we could take our 16 year old daughters. But I enjoyed it almost as much as they did! His comedy is offensive and brash, but that is why we love it so much! His show was funny and contained old material we knew, along with new stuff he is developing. He included audience members in his act, and laughed at himself as well as at others. After posting his videos on YouTube and gaining a loyal following, he is now really making a name for himself on the club scene and in the college circuit. Keep your eyes open. I think you are seeing the birth of a big comedy star! I look forward to seeing his comedy evolve as he gets older.

    bo was hilarious

by thecoldembrace on 8/16/09The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

All around the show was awesome. The opening comedian "Chris Tinkle" was really funny and perfect for an opener. Bo was amazing, and while I wished he would have done his "cookout" song it was all enough to make my abbs hurt frome laughing.

Bo Burnham is a comedic genius

by Bookwurm on 7/16/09Roxy Theatre - Hollywood

He really is hilarious. His is a great and, these days, rare kind of humor. Intelligent, satirical, unafraid lyrics laden with hidden insults and double meanings. He seemed really comfortable on stage and handled the presence of three rows of constantly screaming, barely-teenage girls well. He spent a lot of time after the show taking pictures and signing tickets. There was a couple in front of me and the guy clearly didn't want to be there. By the end of the show he was laughing louder than anyone and cheering. All in all a great show to see whenever possible.

    Bo Burnham at the Roxy

by marmia on 7/15/09Roxy Theatre - Hollywood

The show was located at the Roxy. It was crowded. Not that there were a lot of people there, but the rows of seats were so close together, it was uncomfortable. Ryan Stout, who opened for Bo Burnham, was really funny. He did stand up comedy which was appropriate because he didn't use profanity. Then, Bo came on the stage and did his thing on the piano and guitar. Lot's of singing along. He interacted with the audience a little bit making jokes about them, but they weren't so offensive. Overall, I enjoyed myself and recommend you see Bo live if the chance ever comes to you.

    Bo Rocks!

    by Init4life on 7/14/09Roxy Theatre - Hollywood

The Roxy is a small venue which made every seat in the place practically a front row seat. The staff were courteous and helpful. Plenty of waitresses to take your drink order. Bo was awesome. My whole family and I were laughing out loud most of the time. His jokes were hilarious and he had a unique way of presenting them through music. Also, the opening performer(I feel bad that I can't remember his name) was awesome also but he had a completely different style and content.
